I'll be there. Combining the game with a visit to a friend. Excited to drop a victory duece in the Mighty Maumee River.
Somehow Pennsylvania is superior to Ohio the self-awareness.
U know someone is from a backwoods dungeon when they claim a state but won’t mention the actual city. That’s the beginning and ending of the argument for meHaha. You know where that argument begins and ends? With the state that had a river catch on fire.
I choose to live in South Florida and not Pennsylvania now so maybe my self-awareness of that entire area is actually as sharp as Tim Reynold's elbows at a free buffet.....but I digress.
This guy lives in Alabama.
I mean, you just described yourself in that one sentence right there.
If you had the sense God gave a ****ant - you'd realize your ability to intuit is the same as your ability to cross your legs, strain real hard to fart - and blow your balding head dry.
No, you dumb schitt. I'm not from Alabama, your friends' ****** does not truly belong up your keister (even though you believe him), the earth is not flat, and everyone that ever told you they liked, much less loved you - were lying.

As one of like 3 Toledo grads on CIS, I feel I have an obligation to pitch you all as to why you should come to Toledo, OH, to attend this game. All while knowing full and well my pitch will not be effective at all, and I'll probably get negged for some reason. Anyway, here we go:
1. The Glass Bowl is a cool *** stadium. It isn't that big compared to a P5 stadium, but it's one of the biggest in the MAC and one of the oldest, and it's pretty unique. There is an actual Rocket outside.
2. People in Toledo are really nice. I only lived there for 3 years but I love going back because of the people.
3. Miami is going to run train on the Rockets (I always root for Miami no matter who they are playing, but I have to admit this one will hurt a little bit). I think last year's mess will light a fire under the Canes.
4. Barry's Bagels. They make good sandwiches.
5. Toledo has a Casino. Idk I'm reaching here now.
6. Mutz's bar. Love this place. Spent a lot of time there over the years.
On second thought... don't come because I have family coming up from FL and NC and I need to find tickets for all of them. The Glass Bowl will sell out quick.
Until next time, Go Canes.
(and go Rockets on all other days than 9/16).

15 of us from Northern Detroit suburbs will be there.
Go Canes !
The headquarters of the company I used to work for is in Toledo. About 20 years ago, flew into Detroit and drove to Toledo for some training at the home office. The drive between Detroit and Toledo was all country. Some great restaurants in the burbs of both cities. And if you're inclined, great strip clubs on 8 Mile Road in Detroit. Just don't go alone!
