This quote sums up this team and staff

Here's the exact inverse of this thread's topic:

😂😂yeah, our guys would have been back on the 20 walking toward the sideline. That was the great thing about Deejay Dallas...he actually gave a **** more than the coaches and most players and wouldn’t give up on most plays.

These guys are also dumb. Why would you even make that quote? Why put yourself and others out there like that? What’s going to happen when in your next game you have 2 catches for 15 yards with 2 drops?
And if he someday gets an opportunity to make an NFL roster he will have to deal with explaining that quote to any team that interviews him.

I’d actually like to see the full quote to get a better feel for the context in which he supposedly said this.

But we’re mopes for calling chit out, though?? Lol. FOH, u punk *** sunshine pumpers. Listen to what the real fans are calling out. It was clear af these mofos were half @$$ing it.

No way the talent we have at WR, per their rankings, we should look this pedestrian. 247 can’t wrong about all of our players and right about all other teams’ blue chips. And yes; this is on coaches. The fact that social media, you know, THE MOPES, had to motivate these fools is utterly ridiculous.

The fact Harley could even put this on record is disgraceful in itself. I know we better come out on fire in 2 weeks.

If he someday gets an opportunity to make an nfl roster he won't have to worry. Cause that same day that gm will be let go of... He had a great game yesterday but let's bring it in a lil. Not sure how we get to supposedly out of a statement he made out of his mouth. It'll definitely be explained away like it's out of context. But this is one of those rare white wale (or whatever the phrase is)moments where you as fans get a glimmer of the truth.

One of the Freshmen WR's snapped on Harley for that public comment, basically telling him "Keep my name out of your mouth, don't throw all of us under the bus cause yall are lazy etc etc etc." Something along those lines.

I heard Pope and Wiggins are able to get away with a lot more BS because they're Cooney's boys. Don't know how true that is but it's believable.

There's clearly a culture of complacency at Miami and I've been saying it for years. When you celebrate in the locker room after squeeking out a win versus Western Kentucky (or whoever it was)...and you got guys dancing on the sidelines during losses to GT and FIU...there's cultural problems. You're doing nothing more than breeding complacency and mediocrity.

I mean, think about this for a second.
A fvckin' player from Buffalo came here and was our hardest worker and our best WR.
How bad is that?

Starts at the top fellas.
Agree with you and would even throw in a ...... let that sink in.
I think KJ was also a captain for some or all of our games.

As an aside and I am CIS digressing, the Anchor Bar in Buffalo had some of the best chicken wings way back in the day. Add some celery sticks and blue cheese dressing and you’re good to go.
Place is apparently still there.

These guys must be getting paid under the table for this type of actions, these kids were known for working hard and playing for top programs, man what happened!?!?!

Ha ha re: GM.
It just seems odd to me that Harley would actually say that and from what’s written above it seems like it was a part of what he said - hence my curiosity in wanting to see it in the context of everything he said.
But it is what it is.
And if he hopefully has more great games like yesterday it will be that much easier to explain it away.

And Arizona came away with nothing, no points on that first and goal where the dB had a ten to fifteen yard head start on the wr. #heartandhustle that’s ole skool canes stuff manny needs to be bringing back!
Agreed. Problem is manny ain't that kind of dude. He comes off like a shy quiet dude. Maybe it's cause of the lisp. But the fire I saw out of him as a lb coach previously, I haven't seen since.

Lmao y’all think they feat Ed? Y’all know he answer to the guy they don’t fear right?
Nah. Ed ain't answering to nobody. That's not his role. He helps out for his love of the program but at the end of the day he's basically a marketing ploy. He's a billboard for the program to say look who's here and he is hands on etc... But he ain't answering to no one. He's just got no power himself either like lonzo was supposed to have. It was just blake and Mandy's way to show the board that there was accountability (there's not) and direction...

That’s cool but the point still stands. Ed can’t do anything. He’s doing everything you said he is but also can’t do anything. I just don’t get it. Do they have nudies of Manny or something?
