What an absolute disgrace
What an absolute disgrace
I would laugh at anyone who thought this would happen in year 1 of him around the program. But to think he wont have an effect a year or two down the road is unfair.LOL at cats who actually thought Ed Reed being on the sideline is going to suddenly make this program into a legit one. It’s a symbolic position of no real power, set up to trick dumb fans into thinking “we’re back”.
Just like the chain, the cigars, the knuckles, the slip and slide. All these gimmicks to fool idiots, like any other politician does.
But but Harley posted videos working out with Gold Feet Global. Can't believe we actually have people in here downplaying his comment.
If you look at their lack of development, they're inability to make plays plus their bodies it's clear that they are not hard workers.
That's why there's an "open competition" at WR. Think about what that says. Imagine being a junior/senior and your coach publicly states that there's an open competition at your position. That's embarrassing.
Now, I don't know how "open" it actually is, but I guess we'll see as the season goes on.
This program has problems. I wanna believe it'll get better as we recruit more hardworking badasses like Chaney, Restrepo, etc. But the guy at HC has been here the entire time this culture was being built.
Well, yeah, he was with goldfeet, not a real trainer, that was the first red flag. But but Harley posted videos working out with Gold Feet Global.
/Coward doing it for the gram like alot of kids nowadays.
Exactly my point. We all KNEW this was going on. Why is everyone so shocked? He was just man enough to finally admit it. All of our WRs look like they hadnt lifted one weight since they got here. Jeff Thomas included at the combine last year. Can't believe we actually have people in here downplaying his comment.

Goldfeet is a real trainer.Well, yeah, he was with goldfeet, not a real trainer, that was the first red flag.
Lol I won't hate on that guy but the idea that you coast at practice and post "hard work" online is disturbing for me. If only he could get that dopamine at UM's practice....Well, yeah, he was with goldfeet, not a real trainer, that was the first red flag.
I thought Wiggins was turning the corner also after FSU and the ville, and look at him now : also someone pointed out that these cats are the worst blocking group of receivers we ever had. Actually the only WR that I saw really blocking this year was Redding :Exactly my point. We all KNEW this was going on. Why is everyone so shocked? He was just man enough to finally admit it. Moment of clarity I guess after a 10-170-1 performance for Harley. I wish he would not say it publicly but I won't knock the kid for his honesty as long as all of that is behind him now and he has changed moving forward.
It’s also time to restructure the recruiting model. South Florida kids USED to be tough and play with a chip.
we don’t recruit those types anymore. We recruit nice guys that live doing community service.
we need to start going after tougher more edgy kids. Great football is played all over the map. We need to start getting more Texas, NY, VA, LA kids
Been saying for ages. South Florida talent is watered down. There are some studs at the top but many are overrated bc of 7on7. And in typical fashion we don’t land the top kids anyway outside of a few.
Intelligence plays a factor in admission to Rice; this admission may demonstrate some lack thereof.I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to the other WRs because no man should be allowed to speak for another but why the **** did Harley even come to Miami to play? He could have half-assed it at Rice University and still accomplished his goals.
If I'm coach and I hear this kind of **** get said, this dude would never touch a football again at my program and I'd find every means necessary to revoke a scholly. No Balls Manny is going to leave him at WR1. Un****ingbelievable. Just declare, Harley. No business being here.
One of the Freshmen WR's snapped on Harley for that public comment, basically telling him "Keep my name out of your mouth, don't throw all of us under the bus cause yall are lazy etc etc etc." Something along those lines.
I heard Pope and Wiggins are able to get away with a lot more BS because they're Cooney's boys. Don't know how true that is but it's believable.
There's clearly a culture of complacency at Miami and I've been saying it for years. When you celebrate in the locker room after squeeking out a win versus Western Kentucky (or whoever it was)...and you got guys dancing on the sidelines during losses to GT and FIU...there's cultural problems. You're doing nothing more than breeding complacency and mediocrity.
I mean, think about this for a second.
A fvckin' player from Buffalo came here and was our hardest worker and our best WR.
How bad is that?
Starts at the top fellas.
Them boys skinnier than when they walked in their freshmen years. Do we feed them??Can't believe we actually have people in here downplaying his comment.

You know nothing if you dont know Goldfeet and their reputation down here. Stick to bashing the football team buddy.Well, yeah, he was with goldfeet, not a real trainer, that was the first red flag.
Wiggins was a project coming out of HS and we as a fanbase should have not put any real expectations on him. I am in that group myself. He was a high 3*. Some sites had him as a 4* but I think that was because of his physical talent. Shame. He is 6'2 190 and runs like a sprinter. Smh. Wasted talent. I think he gets his job taken at some point this season and ends up transferring.I thought Wiggins was turning the corner also after FSU and the ville, and look at him now : also someone pointed out that these cats are the worst blocking group of receivers we ever had. I remember Pope celebrating a hail mary (during a loss) like he just caught the game winning ball in the Super Bowl. lolPeople asking me why i'm givng mallory and pope all that flack. they both some hoes. last yeasr vs fiu these dudes celebrating bs plays in garbage time.
add scaife to that group too.
all n all the coaches allow this bs. thats why you see all the sloppy play from these guys........ missed tackles, dumb *** penalities, lack of effort on alot of plays, overall lack of awareness. etc.
Its insane that this hasnt been fixed.
