Bottom line is that UM is assisting multiple players and coaches with finding landing spots. You can **** and moan about that all you'd like, but it's going to happen whether you agree or not.
It has NOTHING to do with the contract. As I've mentioned before, buyouts are really only relevant for head coaches with multiple years remaining on the contract. Also, as I've mentioned before, Miami will pay anywhere from $1.8 million to zero-point-zero, with the only variable being "what does the new employer pay". Miami is finding landing spots for everyone NOT to save money, but because that's what Miami does.
