My man, yes I do know. i know things that would make your guts turn. I love this program, supported in more ways than I’m comfortable disclosing even on an anonymous message board. People say it’s recruiting gotta take the good with the bad. That’s BS!!! And honestly you’re right it’s on Mario, he’s a lunatic and has indebted to this little f king prick. The guy should be coaching division 2 fb in Louisiana. Goddamnit
 
I don’t want to hear about history of winning when you have other programs who haven’t won the natty either recently since that’s the only game that matters since kids opt out of other bowl games. In the NIL ERA kids are chasing the bag. They can give a **** about what a team did the last 20 years

USC is the number one class and their head coach is on the hot seat. Who didn’t do anything with Caleb Williams.

Texas A&M ???

Texas ? When was their last natty???

Oregon never won a **** natty and got destroyed by Ohio state at the rose bowl.

All in all South Florida kids and their parents will always find a reason not to go to Miami and that’s fine. They are all followers want to play on stack teams or teams with the most popular. They do it from little league, 7 on 7 and high school football

Respect you, you’re a great poster. Agree with a lot of stuff. You’re dead wrong. And also kind of right, it’s on Mario, it’s on how he operates. He’s a FCKING BAFFOON
 
1) They need to get better at reading recruits. There is a fundamental issue with this.
2) If south Florida kids are going to play games, then go more national with a bigger board. Stop being beholden to it.
3) When going national, don’t waste your time in Mississippi, Alabama, or Southern Georgia. Focus on DMV, Houston, Texas, Chicago, Bishop Gorman, etc.

There is something fundamentally broken and stupid about our approach.
 
Ouch. Still glad it’s not Georgia. What a loser mentality though.

I think our conference is the number 1 killer here. In general for croots.

I’m not saying Dennis Smith isn’t a part of the problem. My body shivers when I see him post shït because it’s so fücking cringe.

But it seems like whenever things go wrong on a recruit the instant scapegoat is Dennis Smith as if there aren’t a ton of other coaches involved.

Like where is Merritt in all of this?

As for the South Florida kids, 95% are mercenaries with scumbag handlers or parents ..... nothing more needs to be said.

And yet week after week we allowed him to ruin our dream season. Wasted a once in a generation QB. We couldnt of been any worse on D. Should of canned his *** soon as you seen he wasnt capable of handling the role.
 
You’re not gonna out develop Ohio State when they get Jeramiah Smith and Carnell Tate. You’re not gonna out develop Texas when they get Bijan Robinson, or Derek Cooper, you’re not gonna out develop Georgia, and Clemson when they recruit the best dt’s tackles in the country.


You’re gonna have to spend to get these guys in order to beat those teams. If not, we’re just gonna be averaging 9 instead of 7 wins while hoping we be Clemson for the ACC championship. Who by the way has a better receiving room and dt room than we have. Two areas that we failed this recruiting the cycle.

So in other words, if we’re trying to be Clemson, we sure as hail aren’t addressing it in recruiting nor in the portal. And if we are addressing it, we don’t have the money to actually obtain it.

I’m done trying to believe these people saying that we have the money but we just can’t convince these kids that we’re gonna win because of what we haven’t done in the past 20 years.

he was a jerk. fighting with people, doubling down and gets run off the field and then comes into press conferences with his goofy smile talking about cajun recipes.
 
it's disappointment, but the OP made it seem a little worse than i picture it ... we got a solid class and #1 player ... we missed on some guys we wanted badly ... gotta go find some guys that improve and have good senior season and gotta keep pushing forward in the wins column ... mike tomlin said it best, "you can't run from coaching, you have to run to coaching" ... mc has to coach/hire good coaches to get to the next level

every year we have flipped kids too. recruiting is just hard
