Garrett Nussmeier will be in the mix but he has more physical limitations than those three.

@Memnon has been pushing Sawyer Robertson and I agree with him- NFL-type physical tools.

Klubnick is a Colt McCoy-type prospect to me.

Fernando Mendoza can work his way up the board. It will depend on his physical development, which has been on an upward trajectory since high school. Where is the ceiling? Interesting player to...

D$ isn’t saying we are gonna lose every game this year and the class will fall apart he’s saying we won’t land cooper Stewart green etc.

My theory is we don’t quite have the nil to back a championship roster. But maybe a 9-15 ranked roster. We got guys needing to get paid on the roster and need recruits plus expensive portal players cause we missed on high school.

Also D keeps harping on portal qbs over high school blue chips. Well maybe he’s saying that because partly, we can’t afford to take the chance on high school blue chips. If Georgia’s give star qb is a bust who cares. They can afford his dead salary and go grab a portal arm. Same with taint etc

And to you over-hyping the staff and NIL. If you really believed we had allocated more of our NIL budget than the other top programs to keeping returning players and bringing in expensive portal additions, you shouldn't have created the expectation Mario is going to land a Top 3 class. We deride other sites for Clickbait. But you've been doing the same thing on CIS.

Everyone you listed are trench guys. The high profile skill guys we swing and miss on would rightfully want to know and see how we would elevate their own individual profile.., i.e. “get me in Doak Walker, Biletnikoff conversation”

Look at Dame Martinez for example. Our RB room rushed for over 2,000 yards last year collectively. He was every bit good enough to have been a 1,600 yard rusher himself. But that’s not what we do… he was the only one there for year last year. Could a more intentional philosophy surrounding him “benefitted him” and his draft stock? Guess we’ll never know.

Our all time leading receiver just went undrafted…what are we selling?

Trench guys care about snaps…getting on the field because after that it’s all on them. RBs and WRs it ain’t just snaps… “How are you going to get ME the ball and we win so people can see me and I get drafted high?” That’s what matters to a 5 star skill guy… and honestly I think it should.

This wouldn’t bother me too much if it was December.

What concerns me is if we can’t even sign the local kid that we’ve been recruiting at the highest priority for several years, then what are the chances that the guys that we actually have on board stick?

Everyone keeps saying that USC’s class is gonna fall apart. Well if that’s true then what about ours?

I know you say that we have a top nil program. But are we really gonna blame the fact that we haven’t been to the playoffs as an excuse? Because USC and Texas A&M haven’t been to the playoffs either.

At some point, you have to stop talking about the money that you have or you start spending it. Cause if not it starts looking like you’re the dude standing next to a lambo on ig but he really works at Best Buy.

It’s not like Cooper and JJ and all the other top kids were after didn’t realize or haven’t noticed that we haven’t won anything but yet we were one of their top choices allegedly.

This Cooper situation is very simple. We got outbid. Again!!
There’s absolutely no way that Texas hadn’t popped in Cooper’s tape until last week. There’s also no way they weren’t in communication with him constantly or recruiting him constantly. That would just be negligence on any high-level P4 program’s recruiting team.
They didn’t just wake up yesterday and say you know what? let’s extend this guy an offer. The only thing Texas did was right up a contract with a bigger number than the one we have.

Like only super fans always come up with ultimatums as to why "we have to do this" "we have to show this" but then don't explain why another team with blue chips did not have to do it lol. If something doesn't make sense I just tell myself its bull****. Recruits telling us "you have to show me this" is basically what recruits tell FSU because they don't want to go there and were outbid for the recruit. Its simple, but they want give fans false hope to keep you intrigued enough.

Exactly. Fans weren't negative when we were winning games with Cam, or winning recruiting battles. This narrative is bull****.
