The Don… updates??

Allen had 200 total yards in one season. Not sure I would call him a solid vet when he has two more years to play here. He is a good back with limited experience.
Yea I think he misspoke with the vet part because he’s only a 2nd year player but he definitely was a solid TALENTED pickup for sure.

Mario needs his roster to be 6 deep at RB...

This.

Mario obviously wants to be a power running team.

Gonna need 6 RB and 7 TE (which includes a FB/TE which we are getting with Lofton and should have had with Brantley)

I actually was down on Young. He has missed multiple jump ball opportunities and hasn’t been a good enough blocker. Last night is the Young we need every game. He still missed some opportunities to block/catch but overall it was his best game of the year.
That deep drop by him was so deflating but he made up for it on that series

I’m hoping the knee hit was just a stinger. He was taking hits and delivering them too. Absolutely physical game by him.
From your lips to God’s ear.

However, hearing he went back to the tent and then was carted off… it may be his 3rd straight season ending injury to a knee.

Pray that is not the case.

Edit: @Cribby heard it’s not major. Let’s just hope it was extremely precautionary ala Kam.

This is why you need 5RB. Remember when everyone was talking how deep the RB room was. It matters. Next week Miami can use Smith, Allen and maybe Parrish if healthy.

Fletcher if it’s a high ankle sprain I would think can be back by NC st. Pure guess though.

Citizen I would be curious how close he is to getting live game reps. He may be needed at some point.
If I were Mario I would begin playing him with three or four games left to go. If he’s ready at that point. Preserve the redshirt year, and qualify 2022 as a medical redshirt.

MF probably has 2-3 weeks left minimum , if he comes back. Don doesn’t sound major from what I was told
So just a precaution to cart him? What was up with Parrish. Looked like he was hurt pretty good against UNC but he was fully dressed for last night's game but no touches? He still banged up?

Mannn in the mist of battling out a MUCH NEEDED VICTORY, Don was injured late in the 4th quarter and after going into the injury tent he was then seen being carted to the locker room… Im heart broken for the kid!
Has there been any updates as to the extent of his injuries???
Concussion

Still waiting but I was told last night it didn’t seem major. We’ll see.
Fingers crossed!! He been really good this year when he got some plays. Bad news will deflate this high I’m on from that win last night.

Fair. Mostly meant that only Parrish and Chaney had more snaps than him so he'd be bringing actual P5 experience and still really only be our 4th option.

I know he was banged up against Temple but I hadn’t heard anything about this week
I know something happened to him at the end of the UNC game. Looked like a leg injury. I assumed he would be out a while but then seeing him suit up I figured he was good to go and then no touches...

Agreed. But the defender made a great play on that. If you watch it again, you’ll see him knock the ball out mid transition.

It was great to see him get the first down on the very next play. Also seeing him make up for it with the TD and the jump ball on the underthrown ball by Emory he used his grown man height and strength to ensure he made the catch was nice too.

He might miss a game , that shouldn’t make it hard to figure out.
Who will miss a game? Chaney?

So we get Parrish back vs UVA and won’t have Chaney. Can we please get CJ 4-6 runs a game or is it all about saving his shirt at this point?
