The Don… updates??

I swear I thought to myself on the Clemson Endzone fumble…. “Ha, ain’t no way they giving us that, we have not got a call like that all year”!!! … they gave us the fumble … then they went back to being the refs we know on that blown Safety call!!
Also, it was a mistake blowing the whistle dead when JW started to run with the ball. He did NOT possess the ball while on the ground. They should have let it play out and allow replay to make any corrections. JW likely takes it to the house or gives us the ball in plus territory.

That crew was so awful with the lack of personal foul penalties on Clemson. I watched Caneville show over and over where the Clemson DBs were taunting our WRs in their face even on the way back to the huddle. There was also a play where a Clemson DB pushes our WR's face into the ground after he was down and play was over. The ref was looking right at it and no penalty.

I really think there is a Miami bias with ACC referees.

Lol u right ! I just rewatched it ! They looked confused on that fumble call! 😂😂

I really think it will take someone like Kirk to call out the officiating towards us for it to change.

yeah, but the ref on that side knew enough to not blow the play dead while the ball was on ground, and still didn't even blow the whistle until JW was running a few yards away... it was like the other refs blew their whistles because they had no clue what just happened.... amateur hour out there....

per James Williams, he didn´t know where the ball was until the ref looked at him and the ball. See this video at 0:30

what is the latest on Citizen? Last I read two weeks ago, @Cribby mentioned he's practicing and looks way better than earlier on. Any official time table when we might see him?

Give CJ a bigger role vs. UVA and NC State..... Give B.Smith some more running plays..
In the Monday press conference, Mario Said (paraphrasing) that citizen will start full contact in practice soon. Running well and you can't tell he was injured. But he has to learn to trust his knee.

Bottom line, we should see him this season. Pretty vague.

That deep drop by him was so deflating but he made up for it on that series
None of you guys watched the replay very closely. Defender clearly ranked the ball out. Was tough to see and at the very end and not a good angle but it clearly happened.
