He got hit in the thigh. Wasn’t his knee. Helmet to thigh knocked him out. Then he came back in and got concussed. I am not sure why that play was designed to run up the middle. The heavy package was on the right side.

As bad as it all sounds I guess he will be alright. He played hard. They all did. That was a cane game.

If it was the 3rd and 1 play where Clemson sent a 17th defender into the box and shot him out of a cannon to meet Chaney head on, I'm guessing he got concussed. He looked like he tried to shake it off, but went to the sideline. I don't remember seeing him after that.

You could hear the contact and it looked to be right in the face mask. Was kind of expecting a look at targeting.

I kept waiting for the review...but I was also waiting on the ****** refs to review the hit we had on their 3rd down in 1st OT. That was very close to helmet to helmet against their QB.

That deep drop by him was so deflating but he made up for it on that series

he came off a few times exhausted/hurt and kept going out there. he was taken off on a cart after the play you describe above. he wasn't all there.

Him getting banged up threw our RB room in the uh oh territory. He was the guy that I didn't wanna get injured this year. For whatever the reason in the last 4-5 years our freshman running backs gets a serious injury that takes them out for the season. So we might be missing 3 of our backs for Virginia. Chaney got a good chance of going over 500 yards this year and thats a great comeback story

There where a few close hits that, for the right school of course, would warrant a review.

The booth and the network refused to show the replay even though the player was hurt.

Unless it’s gruesome, networks ALWAYS show when someone gets dinged up.
