Maybe the interest in Koi is not mutual. That could be a reason to not pursue him.
Likewise. But until then I won’t wish for it
RB situation?Dude, he literally said this is the defensive edition and he would post offense later.

You got Moten, Scott, Blount plays inside, if Carter comes. Not many guys are signing up to be a 5th DT. And we got jones who will be in year 3 and they probably feel stancil can provide some snaps if neededAnd a second DT after Carter. And another LB. We've been super lucky with injuries. Assuming we land Wilson and Carter, which would be amazing, that would still only be 6 portal guys on defense plus replacing anyone else who leaves.
I like Koi just for the physical imposing frame at S. One that can do it all but if we want to go small it is what it is. PauseKoi Perich is a NFL talent who will play one more year, get drafted afterwards and make a ****load of money. These kinds of players with past, very successful ties to your coaching staff, don't just show up at your doorstep.
I'm fairly certain he'll receive money we're not ready to spend at that position. I could make the same argument for our D-Line and why we're chasing Wilson.
Pete just mentioned on the pod that the staff really loves StancilYou got Moten, Scott, Blount plays inside, if Carter comes. Not many guys are signing up to be a 5th DT. And we got jones who will be in year 3 and they probably feel stancil can provide some snaps if needed
Don’t think it’s that he doesn’t want him. It’s probably more of he is too expensive at a position where you have guys you are comfortable withThink it says a lot if Heatherman doesn’t want Perich
Plus, I'm sure the staff is fighting to retain all four corners- Brown, Lucas, OJ, and O'conner. That isn't cheapDon’t think it’s that he doesn’t want him. It’s probably more of he is too expensive at a position where you have guys you are comfortable with
Since he isn’t a local kid have to think 24 is looking around but 2 is pricey and has been hurt a lot…Personally, I'd prefer to keep 3/4 of these dudes: #24, #6, #29, #2.
Listen, my brother, right now we need a QB for next season.
And don’t forget a guy like dunnigan in the class who was a top 100 guy and I’m sure he is getting paid well. And he has been practicing since last monthPlus, I'm sure the staff is fighting to retain all four corners- Brown, Lucas, OJ, and O'conner. That isn't cheap
No doubt. You run the risk of them transferring as well, which you want to prevent if you think they're close .It says a lot about what the younger guys are showing in practice / on film that the staff doesn't feel the need to invest at Perich's level at Safety for 2026
Bryce is a great pass defender. Go watch his run fit on the Kewan Lacy TD and you’ll understand his limitations (at least for now).Bryce Fitzgerald will play more.
landing both those guys at DE and DL would be an absolute home run!!!!And bring us Wilson and Carter
Who says he doesn't like want him. It's a matter of cost-benefit. No doubt he's a great talent, but the price may be too high.Think it says a lot if Heatherman doesn’t want Perich
