Wow I was thinking it started in 2020 but you're right.Considering the rule to allow playing in 4 games changed in 2018 I don’t think it will be an issue. Hes a RS Junior right now. No waiver needed. He redshirted in 2019, Covid year 2020. Played in 21, 23, 25. Missed 22 and 24 with injuries.
Thanks for the Monday morning entertainmentFrist*
Personally, I'd prefer to keep 3/4 of these dudes: #24, #6, #29, #2.I thought we had LOOT.. But I cant complain, keeping these rosters together that are double the size of nfl and players wanting more than NFL counterparts unrealistically aint cheap..
I just dont want to go back to lower level smaller slower avg players..
The other part that people don’t talk about enough is retaining players. This is where roster management and money management plays a role. As much as we see other teams adding, those moves are not guaranteed success. Also keep in mind, every year with success at certain positions, the money will go up for those positions. This is where Mario is making his money with the high school recruiting and hitting on those.
Agree and if we don't give them a chance to play they will just leave.Slime,Wallace,Ewald and the the new guys.I take all this mean we just have far fewer holes in the roster to fill than in the past because our high school recruiting has been excellent.
20 is the covid year, doesn’t count against eligibility. How? he redshirted in 19
played in 20, 21, 23, 25
Dude, he literally said this is the defensive edition and he would post offense later.Center?

We have to pay up to keep many of our current players. So it’s not always about new acquisitions.
For a one year rental I’d rather overpay on a DE.I am sure Perich and Wilson are going to demand a lot of $. If its between a S and a DE, we have proven that the trenches are where the money needs to be spent.
Missed that, my badDude, he literally said this is the defensive edition and he would post offense later.
Plus he's been practicing during CFP, no? Gotta' be a huge developmental aspect of just seeing how elite players prepare for the biggest of games. We have lacked that aspect for 20 years.I expect JJ to get some good minutes as a Tr Fr next year as well. Good size and great football pedigree and very smart/hard worker.
