if you were betting, who do you think portals out?Getting the vibe one of those corners portals out.

Bryce is a great pass defender. Go watch his run fit on the Kewan Lacy TD and you’ll understand his limitations (at least for now).
Some ol, few WRs , Juddif you were betting, who do you think portals out?
this was known from the very beginning. Even though his ranking didnt correlate, they saw him as a WHALEPete just mentioned on the pod that the staff really loves Stancil
2020, the covid year, doesn't count. I believe it's a freebie as far as eligibility is concerned. How? he redshirted in 19
played in 20, 21, 23, 25

At DT, I don't know if you can expect much from a true freshman. A one-year rental will certainly help the rotation.Pete just mentioned on the pod that the staff really loves Stancil
Blount also plays at DE. Getting another DT allows Blount to be used as Bain is being used. Also, these guys get banged up a lot.You got Moten, Scott, Blount plays inside, if Carter comes. Not many guys are signing up to be a 5th DT. And we got jones who will be in year 3 and they probably feel stancil can provide some snaps if needed
I have to disagree. If the scheme requires two LB's to make perfect decisions in order to prevent a 75 yard TD, then that is a problem. I highly doubt that was the scheme against a 10.4 100 meter RB. I am pretty sure Fitz was out of position. Even so, one of very few mistakes he has made all year as a true freshman that was not even here for Spring. He has been impressive. That long runs was not on Bryce it was on both LBs going into the same hole and the cutback was there.....not on Bryce.
That's why we're hoping to get Carter to slide into DT4. Blount will play a lot inside. Stancil can certainly get some meaningful time as the season progressesAt DT, I don't know if you can expect much from a true freshman. A one-year rental will certainly help the rotation.
I think i gonna go with Coach Hayes on this one no disrespect though!!I have to disagree. Strange that we're not going after LBs Biles and Ulave.I know everybody is asking about quarterback and the offense, but I'll post that breakown later today when the dust settles a bit. Let's start with our Portal efforts the defensive side of the ball.
- The key name to know on defense is Missouri DE Damon Wilson. The former five star from Venice, Florida is the best defensive player in the Portal, and Miami is zeroing in on him. They are looking for bigger defensive ends to replace Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor.
- The Canes are also looking for a young defensive tackle to replace Donta Simpson. One name to keep an eye on: Ohio State transfer Jarquez Carter. He is a former teammate of Miami freshman DT Mykah Newton. The pair is from Newberry, Florida. Ahmad Moten, Justin Scott an Armondo Blount are expected to return and anchor our defense.
- Linebacker received a big boost with the expected return of Mo Toure, who is playing his best football in the playoffs. He continues to get healthier and faster. They are continuing to look for linebackers, but my sense is that they will look to their existing roster for most of the production. Don't sleep on Kamal Bonner, who fell behind due to injury but has been coming on in practice.
- Boston College transfer Omar Thornton is committed and will play both nickel and safety. We are not pursuing Koi Perich and I don't expect further action at safety. We are evaluating corners, as we have four starting caliber veterans and it is unclear how that will play out after the championship.
- I like Miami for Kicker Jack Olsen. He is highly accurate from within 50 yards. I expect Miami to pursue a kickoff and long FG specialist. Keep an eye on FSU kicker Jake Weinberg.
$$$$$$$and in today's list of things I don't understand

At some point you have to play the players you recruit and we have some good DBs.We lose Keionte and Jakobe, and Thorton gonna play both spots on some 11 on 10 defense type ****.. Umm, Yikes
I thought we had LOOT.. But I cant complain, keeping these rosters together that are double the size of nfl and players wanting more than NFL counterparts unrealistically aint cheap..
I just dont want to go back to lower level smaller slower avg players..
Transfers are a BIG part of cfb right now, you dont have to replace every position but EVERY roster will benefit from transfers.. NO ONE is recruiting ONLY High school.. We NEVER recruited like FSU and I am not suggesting that extreme, stop it.At some point you have to play the players you recruit and we have some good DBs.
Fitzgerald looked great. Scott wasn't a thumper like Thomas, but made good open field tackles.
Thornton and Toure are gonna keep that violent mentality there.
Can't just keep replacing players with transfers every year, then what's the point in recruiting high school?
We've done a good job in HS recruiting so roll with it and use the portal to supplement not control your team roster, then your FSU or Michigan State.
Mario has done an incredible job building a roster, let him cook as he sees fit.
