The defense clearly looked more aggressive than we've ever seen from this staff.

Because of coleys play calling, there's a reason he wasn't allowed to call plays at fsu during games

We didn't even play 60 minutes of football. Let's keep things in perspective my dude.

At least you called out the offense for what it was tho.

People really didn't learn their lesson in 2014 when everyone was patting each other on the back during the last "I swear to god this defense turned the corner. This is the Miami defense of old" epidemic?

Fair enough. It'll make for good bumping material in a few weeks.

I won't believe anything I just saw until I see it against opponents that matter.

Just wait till they look across and see someone with a little speed and strength..... 5 guys against 7 in the box and the rest in the next hemisphere. People are creatures of habit. The only think u can hope for is that they have perfect the prevent. Because its the same thing they have been running all along.....and they will tell u that as well

In all fairness AQM probably was more effective as scout QB than BCU's QB was yesterday.
 
LULZ at bragging about yardage totals in a 50 minute game against Bethune Cookman. This is like an Onion article.
 
This is not good at all. This will go a long way to to average out the tons of yards and points dorito gives up to good teams and claim he has a top 10 defense.

Let's take the game for what it was.
Four punts for the offense against this team ,with a lot of new faces on D, is more than what I'd like to see. The 387 yds/20 first downs equates to 450/24 over a full game. Overall i expected a little more from the O even though we all were expecting a 40-something point output.
I liked the team quickness on D even taking into consideration the opponent. The adjusted 95 yards/6 first downs is still impressive. You can't expect better than 1.7 ypp, but I expected a dominating performance.
I'm not comparing this game to anything we've done in the past 4 years and I'm not making any grand statements. I am demanding improvement in this team. This was a "good" game, that's it.
On to FAU.
 
Syracuse also shut out their opponent, Rhode Island 47-0, and held them under 70 yards. Oh, and they also managed to put up over 400 yards of offense.

I'm sure The Orangemen are in for a great season!
