Tebow bad arm but won games....

If we really want the old school Miami attitude, then no one's job is safe. If the top two QBs out of camp are going to each blow games, then next man up. I'm not sure what either QB has accomplished in order to be this insulated from being benched.

It’s about who’s playing well. Jarren for the most part has played well enough to win this year. He played like **** vs FIU and 1st qt against tech. If martell could t beat out 5 consistently in spring/fall then..That should tell you all u need. Like I said I was team Tate and thought he would show enough to at least beak camp number 2..tate was beaten out that’s all. He’ll have a whole offseason to get PT

I've never heard of a coaching staff that determined in August that a player will never, ever get in the game no matter how bad anyone in front of him is doing. Have you ever heard of that?

He was the beneficiary of being on an all-time talented team.

He's also one of the worst QB's in the NFL history, he was a good college QB but extremely overrated.

Basically the Florida version of Matt Leinart.

No one cares about the NFL. We're talking about winning college football games. And Tebow did it better than anyone.

N'kosi got a real chance to play. IN GAMES. over and over. So the arguments are not the same.
Tate has never gotten a real chance. Performance in practice is not the same as in games.
All that said, even if Tate is better than the other two, he'd still be running Enos's slow developing stuff under center, which means we'd still have figurative ankle weights on our QBs. But Martell should have had a real chance.
 
I wonder why Virginia Tech didn't stick with Ryan Willis all year. After all, he beat out Hendon Hooker in camp.
