I'm just glad there will be a legitimate competition at the position with no restrictions on any guy winning the job. Between those 3 guys, with a legitimate QB Coach/OC, I don't think the winner can be another JAG like Rosier was when he won.

I expect Tate to win the job. But it is highly unlikely that Miami will name a starter until mid-fall camp to avoid transfers

I dont know. If guys are going to transfer, they'll transfer, even if it is Fall camp.

If the competition isnt close, I'd hope they'd just name Martell in the Spring. That would give us time to bring in a grad transfer backup (Francois perhaps?) if we lose both Jarren and Kosi.

Ideally they convince Jarren to stay for 2019 and see what happens, maybe by telling him they'll help get him immediate eligibility in 2020 if he sticks it out this year (or hey, Tate could even go pro after 1 year, who knows)
