where he is from in Philly is likely more dangerous than LA.......BUT.....these guys get lulled to sleep in LA just like they do in Miami...because HOODS in LA and Miami look like suburbs to these guys who are from places like Philly n NYC, Baltimore....it just doesnt have that "Look" that they expect and they let guards down.

I messed with old boys music too...he wasnt really on that gang ganbg **** but he was a target as all celebrities are in LA,.

Chicago isnt LA or Miami in terms of aesthetics but places like the South Shore and Washington Park dont look dangerous but are no joke. Even Garfield Park, while I wouldn't say its as nice as some of the south side places, isnt terrible looking but is wild af. Whereas you drive through areas in Detroit and it looks like a war zone, but in reality arent even close to the war zones some of these places in Chi are...

IVE SEEN IT IWTH MY FRIENDS/COLLEGE TEAMMATES WHEN IVE BROUGHT THEM DOWN BACK N THE DAY....they are like yall dont have no projects...it looks nice...nice yards.....im like dude 5 ppl have gotten shot in this 3 block radius in 3 weeks lol

If you are in Chicago, I wouldn't drive through Lawndale, Austin, and Englewood to name a few.

Correct, & that’s what makes L.A so dangerous when u’re not from around here. Ppl think Disneyland, Hollywood tourism, beaches, night clubs, pretty girls & lounges. Ppl forget that L.A is the gang bang capital of the world. Plus, in the 80’s & 90’s, u knew what time it was; it was real easy to spot a gangsta b/c they let u know where they was from & was proud of it.

There was also a code; innocent by standers got hit, unfortunately; but; if u weren’t apart of the game, u weren’t a target. Like, it sent shock waves decades ago when a gang shooting took place in UCLA’s Westwood where an innocent victim got hit in the cross fire. That just didn’t happen. This new generation? Bro, they don’t look like gang members, they don’t talk like gang members, & they blend right in. They don’t care if u r apart of the game or not. That’s what sucks & why I advise ppl to keep ur head on a swivel anywhere in L.A county. Go have fun in Orange County or San Diego County, but keep ur head on in L.A County or San Bernardino County, home of the highest crime rate/capita & poorest city in CA.

People sleep on the i.e. but my whole family is from rubidoux and my father is currently in rialto....definitely don't go where you're not supposed to

Facts; my boy is from Rialto, my uncle lives in SB as we speak. I’m out there all the time visiting, & I know how funky it gets. ****, if I’m being honest, the gangs out in the I.E r probably funkier than the gangs in L.A b/c they don’t get the same respect or clout. They tap in heavy w/ L.A, but they’ve created their own identity by how they move. I know L.A dudes that went down there trying to flex & got chalked out. Lotta land, and abandon homes to bury bodies, too.

Hence, I’m cool w/ everyone I meet, stay low key, don’t advertise myself, & give respect. It’s why I feel comfortable wherever I am, but I’m always leery, too. My homegirl just thanked for me for always protecting her by how I move when we out. At first she used to call me paranoid, & that I fight demons & ghost from my past too much, but after what happened, she texted “I thank u for making sure we’re good at all times, & I love how u watch over me no matter where we r; scary times. I get it now.”

They are more reckless imo because of how much tweak is out there....I almost hit a dude with my car cause he was running in the middle of riverside Blvd at 1am

Me and my bother ate at that Roscoes when we were LA a couple of months ago. I should have known better when the 2 cars in front us as we were about turn into the parking lot started throwing gang signs at each other out the window. The food was alright.

My friends and I were driving up through Chicago to go to Wrigley. This was before GPS and maps were prevalent

We were in South Shore because it seemed ok. We needed to stop and ask for directions. We pulled into a gas station and when we pulled around it looked like they were filming Menace II Society part 2 in the parking lot

I still got out of the car to ask for directions…people probably thought my white *** escaped from a mental institution

Cops pulled up and gathered us up and escorted us out. The cop was like are you guys ******* stupid or what?

Yeah bro; I’m glad u were good. Lotta gang gang biz around there. But it’s gang gang that are broke af. Annnnd, to ur point, that food at that spot is mediocre, anyway. It’s literally the worst one out of them all, imho, & I been to each of them.

I was 20 when I helped interview this house DJ at 4am in the South Shore/Jackson Park area. The interview was setup that late cause we were filming him driving out from there to the airport to catch the early flight out to Winter Music Conference. It was my first year out there and I remember asking people where the nearest white hen was so I could grab a quick bite. People looked at me like I was crazy, this was before google was a thing and I was just gonna head out. People basically told me the fvck you are. It looked like a nice neighborhood with a bunch brown stone like buildings around. Had no idea whatsoever
