Talent evaluator thoughts on the first week of practice

Overall, the talent evaluator believes King will be the difference-maker for Miami in 2020. “He’s worth two wins,” the talent evaluator said. “At worst they are 8-4. Last year, I thought at best they were at 7-5. Unless you were blind when you went to practice, everyone could see the quarterbacks were terrible and the offensive line was a mess. They’re better in both of those areas.”

And yet the team had 4 agonizingly close losses before tanking the end of the season. ****** take. That "7-5 at best" team could have been undefeated going into the bowl game. That's how much of a joke the schedule was. Likewise Miami can be an "8 win at best" team this year and run the table. Miami's talent level only matters relative to opponents. Competent coaching and fewer crippling errors like Thomas vs. UF or Ivey on the fake punt are what moves the needle.

That article is pretty accurate.
Be honest with us. Are you the "talent evaluator?"

the problem is baker and diaz are so blitz happy, they don’t just let the front 4 eat and play coverage. On any 3rd down passing play you can almost guarantee it’s a blitz.

LoL, except when we play Clemson, all of a sudden diaz wants to run soft zones.
