Taggart to FSU; Leavitt stays at Oregon

Tagfart is five games under 500 as a head corch. No big wins. No bowl wins. A total of four years coaching at the power 5 level—none as a coordinator.

LOL...you can say a lot of the same things about Saban ("No bowl wins)...Meyer ("none as a coordinator) & Swinney ("none as a coordinator").

Taggart would be a decent hire for FSU, but not one I'm exactly sweating like an Urban Meyer or Nick Saban.

Meyer won bowl games at Utah, and Swinney won a bowl game his 2nd year at Clemson. Nick's the only one I could think of that didn't win one while at Michigan St., but then he stepped over to LSU and got rolling.

Overrated hire if so. Jimbo > Taggart. Not even close really.

Jimbo leaving is equal to Urban's heart attack fake. Those fans chased off National Championship winning coaches! FSU can look forward to some Muschamp/McElwain type seasons!

Need Leavitt to get the KSU gig but old man Snyder is holding on for dear life and wanting his kid to get it

In your estimation, is it better to have bowl wins on your resume or to have won nothing in the post-season?

Your examples are prime cases of cherry-picking.

Yeah, but you can’t say all those things about them. And you certainly can’t say that they had losing records.

Your question is a cherry-pick.

According to your logic, LSU shouldn't have hired Saban because He was 0'fer in bowl games.

Again, you can’t say ALL those things about any of those guys.

Did Saban have a losing record? Did Saban have a total of four years coaching in a major conference? Had Saban never been a coordinator?
