People are in denial for some reason. Places typically air on the side of caution in situations like this. We shall see.
 
What the **** is "air on the side of caution"? Is it something like wind shield factor to determine how cold it feels?

They are gonna play the usf game at noon then another game at night, that don't seem ideal. How would that even work on this short of notice, would current tickets be good or would everyone have to buy new tickets? Tampa have enough hotels for all the canes and fsu fans that will scramble to get to tampa? Seems like a unlikely scenario to me

People in south Florida always air on the side of caution when it comes to hurricanes.

That's why I run my air conditioning all night before the storm.
