We are top 5 in the nation in getting tackled for loss this season.

It is to early to judge him. These are Golden guys.

If you think about it, the 3s & 4s D-line at are starting games now (due to injuries) have been whooping this O-line since the new coaches have arrived. They knew that these guys were not any good.

I think we will see multiple true freshmen starting next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before this game I wanted Searles fired at season's end.

Now I want him fired effective immediately. Have some other position coach take over OL duties for the last 5 games.

He was actually one of the most popular hires at the time he was brought in. Kool was the only similiarly popular hire. Diaz was the least popular hire lol.

He ain't the problem. He's got a qb that holds onto the ball too long and can't extend a play to save his life. His unit sucks but that's a mix of ****** talent (thanks kehoe), ****** qb, and maybe some coaching but I doubt it.

Id be inclined to agree with you if the line wasnt performing worse than last year.

Its a technique problem. Not a talent problem.

Searels is a below average Oline coach or he cant coach players that arent natural at their position.

I honestly do not know what to make of Searels at this point but what I do know is that this OL is absolutely embarrassing.

That's not entirely true.

Darling was a National recruit.
McDermott was a National recruit.
Isidora was a National recruit.
Linder was a highly regarded South FL kid.
St. Louis was a National recruit.

So.....he's got plenty to work with from a raw materials perspective.

Maybe they suck and where incorrectly scouted by a bunch of schools -- but I don't think so.

More likely that they're miscast at their current positions, but either way there is some talent there.

Kehoe got more out of them than Searels is.

Pass rush was a problem but never this much of a problem.

Its scary af everytime Kaaya drops back in the 2 minute drill.

Our last second drives were gashed in the same way two weeks in a row.

It's a technique issue.

It's not a technique issue it's simple math

Demarcus Walker > Darling + Kayaa lack of awareness/mobility = Sack Fumble.

A top 3 round DE will win that battle at a high rate.

So how do you explain UNC DE using the exact same move in the exact same scenario, the following week?

Some guards can't be taught to be tackles. It was obvious last year. It's obvious this year. Darling is an OG and Sonny is average. I don't know why you convinced yourself they were going to be light years better.

I didn't convince myself they would be light years better. I thought with better conditioning ,and supposed better coaching from Searels, they would play at least slightly better than last year or just as good. This is atrocious.
