Some info from former player

This team should be bigger, stronger and faster than last season which should translate into more success.
We also have more playmakers than last season.

The only thing I am concerned about is special teams, specifically the young kickers. But if we score more TDs in the redzone and become more efficient then it may not come back to haunt us.
 
Been hearing this **** since Shannon😂😂😂 Ill believe it when we are NOT getting manhandled by Clemson. I do believe we are actually headed in the right direction unlike in the past tho.

Can't lie all we've heard and seen at times that guys are much more in shape and look physically imposing this year. I can't help but be encouraged. I'm still at a wait and see approach because I just remember Clemson and Pitt, especially Pitt, just physically pushing us around. It annoyed me to no end seeing how anyone who carried the ball for Pitt dragged tacklers for 2 and 3 more yards then they should have gotten.

I may be one of the most optimistic kool-aid drinking guys on this site but even I must agree with you to an extent.
Clemson is arguably the most talented team in the nation with experience..
I am not sure we are at their caliber yet but we are striding in the right direction. And by December I think we can give them a better fight than last December. How much of a better fight depends on way too many factors none of us can predict in August.

Not to be a negative Nancy, but I agree with this. When we can consistently convert a 3rd and 2, I'll be a believer.

If that was 2012 then he wasn't wrong. That team had some dudes on it. Especially on the OL: Bunche, Feliciano, Flowers, Seantrel Henderson, Shane McDermott, Gadbois, Jared Wheeler

Not to mention guys who went on to make NFL rosters like Stephen Morris, Asante Cleveland, Rashawn Scott, Herb Waters, Hurns, Duke and Dorsett
