Hey Toby, I had a Pretty unspectacular career actually. I was only recruited by D3 schools because high school football isn't really big in Buffalo. I knew I was a good football player but I had to get B,S,F - I was only about 210lbs playing DE and TE. I went to JUCO and by my Sophmore year I put on 30 lbs (probably through chemical enhancement) and I started getting recruited - HVCC was a bit of a feeder school for Big East schools (mins Miami). Johnny Major's staff recruited me to Pitt, Tony Pierce specifically. Rutgers, Temple, Syracuse and Hofstra all offered as well . WVU was waiting for a commitment and they wanted me to come in in the fall but I wanted Spring. I chose Pitt becasue their personnel was **** but Majors was let go and Walt Harris took over and luckily he honored my scholly. I transferred in the Spring of '97 and the place was a total sh!t show.
