Idk but we have to find a way to get Kam and Tae on the field the same time. Kam is getting greedy and as a result isn’t where he is supposed to be. A few MTSU/UNC bombs don’t happen if the safeties do their jobs.
if Kam will not play assignment football give Tae a shot, if tae does not see some PT he will hit portal........both guys have potential to be playmakers on D. what do you think of putting Stevenson inside role and playing Porter as a CB ?
My seats are right there in that endzone (133) and it was clear, Kam got sucked in for what I don't know and was completely unaware their WR was running into the center of the field or that the ball was in the air imo. After that play, as the refs were in the process of placing the ball, #2 was visibly voicing his displeasure at Kam smh.

The te wouldnt be his read either way..look at the other safety. It was a mess up by him being nosy with his eyes in the backfield. Stevenson has been hung out twice like this ...he would actually play the flat guy in both blown coverages ive seen that made it look like it was on him...by Couch and Kinchens on this one.

I think the coaches realized he isn’t good. Hate to give up on a guy 2 years in but he isn’t what we need at WR. Slow and has bad hands, but you could say that for almost the entire group too.

Avantae was trash talking Downs after he missed two tackle attempts on his freak TD. Something tells me he's a bit of a knucklehead still and may not do everything the right way. Still, he's out there for a handful of plays so there is at least some trust that's been developed. He may find his way eventually but aside from the one interception against GT, what's he done?
Earl wasn't with Butch long (he was an Erickson recruit)....Markese was with Butch longer....Don't really remember either really being in Butch's doghouse Per Se....Butch even coached Earl with the Browns a couple of yrs. If I remember correctly, Earl was undrafted in 97. Portis on the other hand, never saw eye to eye with Butch. It was Sarge who should get the most credit for landing him. Butch was going to pass on him, but Sollie convinced him to take him. Butch had an uncanny ability to read through people...and yrs later, you see the mess Portis is in.

Meh....Butch wanted Kenny to focus on football 100%...and leave Baseball alone, and Kenny wasn't having any of that, so their relationship worsened as time went on...ending with him leaving UM after Butch named Dorsey the starter after he came back from injury. Dorsey would've been named the starter, regardless of what Kenny did in 99/2000...so he bounced.
