@chucktodd No, because the situations are not even remotely similar. There was no cloud over Ohio St, just a 1-yr bowl ban.

Is this ***** serious?

How is the term cloud so embedded in canes fan's vernacular at this point. If you intentionally refer to a cloud to defend golden then you're a ******* ***got and should die.

@iLLDuce @chucktodd Not making excuses for the U, just stating not every situation is the same. Can't compare "clouds" of one prgm 2 another

Paul Parker should probably kill himself.

welp, that tweet just cost us at least one or two wins and probably 2 - 3 of our 1st option recruits. Additionally, in order to rebuild moral we will probably need at least 4-6 dodgeball sessions and 3-5 dance club workout sessions. Thanks, Chuck.

Will someone send him the Vishnu article. Come on twitter dudes, we need you to attack.

Props to Todd

Chuck carries Obama's water but he's as legit a Canes fan as it comes. Was calling out problems with how the admin and athletic department operate a long time ago as he was donating money. Hope that has stopped.

Watching Irving Meyers coach football makes me incredibly apathetic toward this program. The distance between he and our last three head coaches is an infinite number of light years. As long as there are Urban Meyers, Nick Sabans, and Les Miles in college football while we trot out these F- head coaches, we will forever be trash going forward. We just don't stand a chance.

The only tangible negative effect of the cloud/uncertainty is on recruiting. Even with the cloud and sanctions we managed to have better recruits than the rest of the ACC (except for FSU of course). If those ignorant people think the cloud also hindered coaching and game management then they agree that we need a coaching change!

@chucktodd: As a Miami fan, is it fair to note Ohio State had similar cloud over program when Urban took over that Miami had 3 years ago? #notanexcuse

@dwallbank: @chucktodd OSU has certain advantages Miami doesn't. A good stadium in a useful part of town, for example.

@chucktodd: @dwallbank but Miami has the talent in their backyard. Bet urban would trade that

@dwallbank: @chucktodd I don't think he would. You can hop on a plane to get talent -- & OSU a national brand -- but you can't replicate the Orange Bowl
