Ranking update…

Guy is comparing Mannys COVID class to this one. That’s laughable.

Manny didn’t have Ruiz backing big NIL deals and a massive recruiting department like Mario has. You’re right, you can’t compare.

Manny pulling the 11th rated class with no resources was impressive. Mario pulling the 9th ranked class during his bump year, with $$$ NIL, and a full recruiting budget is less impressive

Then you buy your way out of it. We have Ruiz and who knows what other moneybags operating in the dark. Do what Texas ATM did last year and offer huge NIL deals.

I know we've offered Innis one at WR, but what about ****ey, what about the kid committed to USC? Innis isn't the only stud receiver in this class. If Innis isn't interested, offer that bag to ****ey.

And what about the talk that Sampson is looking at the Gators now? Not acceptable. The Rashada thing was also a massive fail. They don't have a Ruiz, there is zero excuse for losing an NIL deal to the broke *** Gators EVER.

And how the **** do you lose Hykeem to FSU? Etc etc.

They need to go get it done, I don't care about excuses. And again, winning 5 games is 100% on Mario, that's not an excuse to then also fail at recruiting because then it becomes a cycle. Fail in season, therefore fail at recruiting, therefore have another bad season, therefore fail at recruiting again, and so on.

He needs to load this team up with so much talent that they CAN'T fail.

Bruh you can’t land EVERYONE. Sometimes you simply do just get outrecruited NIL or not

You may disagree but Miami shouldn’t lose recruiting battles to the Gators in this day and age.

We have deeper pockets - both in terms of NIL and a higher budget for coaching staff. We’re in a more sellable location. We have the better head coach.

Miami should be pulling top 5 classes every year with the advantages we now have. That’s the new normal. And we’re knocking on the door but we need a few more big commits to hit the mark

With the possibly exception of a few months during 2022, this has NEVER been true. Even today, we cannot compete with the “tax free” payments made by UiF and other SEC programs. NIL has leveled the playing field to some extent (emphasis on the latter) but, make no mistake, Florida has wealthy boosters willing to pay players the old fashion way.

It’s been said on here that UF can compete with almost anyone regarding NIL. They’ve thrown around big NIL offers. You’re acting like we’re offering $5MM and UF is offering $5. That’s not the case. You’re also not considering the fact that some kids grow up wanting to play in the SEC. UF absolutely has benefits that we don’t. Mario has won more head to head against BN, but let’s not act like it should be a cake walk.

And players couldn't take visits lol. This is a horrible take.

Ok Manny, how many of the guys in that class that you recruited out of high school have had an impact here? I count 4 -- Kinchens, Taylor, Williams(fan favorite), Garcia and I'll even throw in Borregales to give you 5. The rest are jags or transferred. Time will tell whether Mario's hit rate is better -- but it can't be much worse than yours.

So, Mario has a "billionaire'' NIL guy who can just buy any player he wants? Doesn't work that way, sorry. Everyone is picking up on how the game is played & lining up boosters, alumni-owned businesses, collectives, etc.

Bags, or what you call “tax free” have never been more than a few hundred grand. Any more and the IRS would get involved. Certainly nowhere near the anount being paid by NIL so that is just an excuse for failure.

We have Ruiz. By himself he is worth more than the entire Gator collective combined. Richest man in Florida. Stop with the excuses

tvd wasnt a jag. he was ruined by the mario chosen OC. rooster is better under the previous regime than this one regarding impact.
