Really..I don’t think I can look at the resume of TROB, Lashlee, Likens, and justice and say we have a staff of terrible coaches..y’all was singing Lashlees praises and praying he didn’t leave just a szn ago..y’all circle jerked over TRob. Nobody questioned likens ability to develop. Justice was a good hire..those excuses are gone..lining up off the LOS as a WR is a player problem. Not knowing who to block is a player problem. Dropping a 3rd down that kills drives (3&85) are on Players..at some point players have to hold themselves to standard and accountable..or you recruit over themReally? Really, dude?

Thank you for posting this. There's a bunch of posters on this thread mentioning Manny cares,SO?.Coker cared,so did Randy and Golden and Richt. What does that have anything with the bottom line.Win or get lost.Care's got nothin to do with it.
Fans care. Few can coach. Care is an emotion.
Definitely fair points. I remember, “Enos just wasn’t right for miami talent and Lashlee gets it.” But players are also coached up to take things to that new level of intensity. Players dont all naturally click as to intensity and the work. Some do. There is a good Netflix on Andy Roddick and Marty something. Marty had the win at all costs click very late in his sports life. Maybe we aren’t picking the high intensity guys or maybe we aren’t bringing it out.Really..I don’t think I can look at the resume of TROB, Lashlee, Likens, and justice and say we have a staff of terrible coaches..y’all was singing Lashlees praises and praying he didn’t leave just a szn ago..y’all circle jerked over TRob. Now name a HC at FIU who had more success?
2007 FIU 1–11 1–6 7th 2008 FIU 5–7 3–4 T–5th 2009 FIU 3–9 3–5 6th 2010 FIU 7–6 6–2 T–1st W Little Caesars Pizza 2011 FIU 8–5 5–3 4th L Beef 'O' Brady's 2012 FIU 3–9 2–6 T–8th FIU: 27–47 20–26
His career at FIU ended in failure. He had a two year span where he went 15-11, then went back to 6 games under .500 and got canned.
"FIU Athletic Director Pete Garcia explained his reasoning for firing Cristobal as "He's done a very good job for this program, but we’ve gone backwards over the last year and a half. Over the last 22 games, we've gone 8-14."
His career at FIU ended rather poorly and his only job offer after FIU was TE coach for UM. If Cristobal was still considered a good head coach after FIU, then why didn't some other G5 try to hire him as HC? His stock was way down after 2012, don't quite understand why that fact bothers you so much.
There is no need to be Captain Save-A-Ho, you seem think think that accurately discussing the trajectory of Cristobal's career is some kind of endorsement for Diaz. It's not. I'm now a fan of Cristobal as I think he's a different coach after learning from Saban.

After watching Lance’s game review there were several players w Olline just standing not blocking anyone. I know that it’s miscommunication but man, wtf are they being taught. At what point do you take out #65 and #55.We didn’t get bullied..we struggled with some of their stunts and quickness..especially on the right side..I don’t think Justice toughness has anything to do with that..that’s on the players playing

Not based on their resumesStop it....our coaching is Toilet water...
Please.......Not based on their resumes
Great point..and that depends on what u think of a guy like Harley, King, Bubba etc..culture is set by the HC..but it’s upheld by the Guys on the team. Coaches can’t hold your hand when your outside the building and not on the clock..that’s why so many of our former greats always talk about Guys holding each other accountable..changing the culture was one of the main thing Manny talked about changing as DC..and he’s constantly emphasized it..but from my observations of other programs, a good culture is only the foundation..then it comes down to talent acquisitionI agree, I like those guys you mentioned. But.... I wonder what they think of our football culture -- which is set by the head coach -- compared to the other programs they have previously coached at?
Honest question what do u think of Simpson and trob? Not based on their resumes
There is a fellow who had a 9 win season at FIU a couple years ago, which would be the most in a single season in the programs history as a FBS school. You might have heard of him, he's a relatively unknown coach named Butch Davis.
One season, in 2018. Butch won 6, I think the following year, I don’t remember. Not a very strong argument. Either way, winning at FIU isn’t easy to do. Mario literally elevated that dead program for a couple of years. There is a fellow who had a 9 win season at FIU a couple years ago, which would be the most in a single season in the programs history as a FBS school. What part of Strawley being included ruffled them?Whatever. Without one of those few BOT members who care actually ACTING, we won't get that AD and it will mean we're going to be sitting around here b1tching about this program miring in mediocrity for the foreseeable future. That's all that matters with regards to UM football right now. If we beat M State tomorrow the majority of the slurping a$$ kissing morons on this site will act like everything is ok because they can't see 5 feet in front of their own face.
I've said it a million times on this board already. Those BOT members might not read this board, but they most definitely do not like getting called out in public. More than one UM person I know was really ruffled by the fact we included Strawley's name in the last banner that was flown.
If the unforseen happens and Manny is fired. Who on this staff could possibly take over?? NOBODY
He has had four chances to do this and has hired Enos, Lashlee, Baker and himself. What makes you think next time will be any better? You already knew this.... it's beyond obvious just waiting for Debacle to get fired.. unless he brings in a good OC and DC..but he would rather be a bum
