I tried to go absurdly thin with the 40 gauge for the sake of the joke. Thanks though, friend.14 Gauge if they actually have a job. Probably less tho. But overall a very solid point.

There is no actual proof! The Bible says there wasn't even an ice age and no dinosaurs. Thats all the proof you need to know climate change is a hoax, along with dinos and ice ages.
It already has. Katrina is a prime example of this. I like to think I have a modicum of common sense (my wife disagrees), and am generally not a risk taker, but even I was ready to ride it out because of the constant "this is going to be the big one" narrative. To be fair, this one looked BAD on its way in.In their pursuit of clicks, their Boy Who Cried Wolf act will end up getting someone killed.
hurricane michael did basically that not long ago
I figured this was gonna happen, I giggled at people saying it was gonna be cat 2
no way I said, no way it was gonna cross the huge expanse of water in those super hot areas and be a cat 2
I figured probably high cat 3, very decent chance for cat 4, and maybe a mid cat 4.
Bible overrides science duh. I have faith that climate change, ice ages and dinos are HOAXES!Why bring the Bible into this?
I’m sorry if you’re hurt by the fact that even the most fervent climate “scientists” will admit that anything happening with hurricanes could, and probably is, due to natural variability, and has nothing to do with man and his activities.
All you have to do is a little legitimate research on your room. Won’t take you that long figure it out
I have no problem with explaining the potential and estimates. The problem I had was last night they were on tv explaining how in a few hours the light pole they were standing under would probably be completely underwater and then waves would be on top of that. That serves no purpose at all. Anyone who was going to get out already had and anyone who was staying was already hunkered down. It was just panic **** for the masses. It already has. Not sure if serious.Bible overrides science duh. I have faith that climate change, ice ages and dinos are HOAXES!
I was talking to my ma last night who was super worried about the storm and those images in particular.I have no problem with explaining the potential and estimates. And the fact that a year might have meant something completely different in Methuselah's time. Not sure if serious.
But just in case, ice ages, climate change and dinosaurs are all real. I’m not religious, but from my perspective the Bible is not meant to be taken literally regarding timelines, especially considering the fact that what people read as the Bible today, has been translated through several languages, which creates issues of translational inaccuracies

Sir I'm very well versed in organized religion and the good book! I understand that I take literally what suits me at the current time/argument.Not sure if serious.

The thousand year old father of Gainesville. And the fact that a year might have meant something completely different in MethUselah's time.
Ok. I’m lost. I’ll admit it. I literally have no idea where you’re coming from. But have a nice day and God bless you, if you believe.Sir I'm very well versed in organized religion and the good book! I understand that I take literally what suits me at the current time/argument.
The Bible tells you that the world is only 6,000yrs old....that alone makes me LMAO....Not sure if serious.

The argument regarding climate change, among serious people, is what actual impact man has had. But climate change is real, climates have been changing before man, and they will continue to change after man. Nobody disputes that.
Man can have a very negative impact on the environment, no reasonable person argues that either. Species extinctions, deforestation, overfishing, air and water pollution, invasive species, those can all be easily be shown to be caused by men. Climate change? Not so much.
I was thinking the same thing while watching that graphic. The reality is, Katrina hit as a 3 and it was all flood damage. Very little was wind or pressure damage. The wetlands also keep receding. So there is the potential for "the big one" that mixes the flooding with the wind, and people should get out of town. They are playing Russian roulette by staying. But that graphic and sensationalized reporting like it accomplish nothing aside from desensitizing people for the next one when it doesn't happen. You don't need water that high to cause issues.I have no problem with explaining the potential and estimates. Can you break it down in emojis for us simpletons?Child, it’s beyond your understanding.
Where does it say that? The Bible tells you that the world is only 6,000yrs old....that alone makes me LMAO....
I'll do it for you....Can you break it down in emojis for us simpletons?
Go to Genesis 5 and 11...then following the Genealogies from Adam to Abraham, then adding in the time from Abraham till today..Adam was created on day 6...so there were 5 days before him...if you add up the dates from Adam too Abraham you get 2,000 yrs...using the Hebrew text of Genesis 5 and 11...All Scholars agree that Abraham lived 4,000yrs ago...so a simple calculation would be...Where does it say that?

5 days
+ 2,000yrs
+ 4,000yrs
= 6,000yrs....
