Every projection has had it making the push north after it passes the Bahamas. So no surprise there.

It's amazing how accurate the ECMWF model has been. This stationary tract was predicted by ECMWF last Thursday. It's doing exactly what the model said. Every other model had it curving.

they ARE destroyed man, the storm surge is literally the ocean itself now, there are no streets just power lines still sticking up here and there.. it's pretty surreal

I was really expecting to see this thing head north by now. Now I have to stay up and watch. It almost looks like it wants to head southwest. And before that I thought it wanted to go northeast. This thing is being a b*tch

Two islands of some size were just eaten alive by a storm. Those places do not currently really exist on a map.

Pretty incredible. And...that storm just sits there, 75 miles off the coast of the United States. Being held up by Eleven from Stranger Things.
