It's necessary.
Isn’t this true of every team in college football? At some point it feels like we expect a team without any weak units, which I would love, but I think every fan base is making this same argument right now. If we just add a _______.

I think that is just human nature. Even in my coaching middle school basketball and AAU I keep wishing I just had another shooter/rebounder, etc... But at some point I need to see that I have a pretty good team and it’s time for me as a coach to get them to where we need to be.

I don't disagree with you, but I always think you should be looking to improve if the opportunity presents itself. I've also said for two years that our LBs stink, and I still believe that. I also believe the WR could use another solid player, and both of these are obvious deficiencies, the former of which will cost us against someone.

I also come from a South American/European school of thought where a club is going to play 4 competitions most years, so you'd better be ready to face highly varied competitions and competitors.
