On Mohamed Toure...

Might end up being a really good addition for the ND game. We don’t need to qualify “if healthy” on every post I think everyone gets that

But the front 7 is gonna get taxed in that game. A veteran that’s been around and can produce is a good thing

I’ll go so far as to say he’s a critical addition. Could be the difference.

I'll take an NFL player.

It's hard to find great LBs in the portal. Of the 14 LBs taken ahead of Kiko, only 2 were from the Portal.

Hopefully, Toure is another Dan Morgan. But I think Kiko would be a positive, realistic outcome at this stage of the game.
I’m glad he was able to make it to the NFL however, his second year Miami was average at best. I’m just hoping this new guy i is a good sideline to sideline open field tackler

I can’t understand why everyone wants to write Wes off when all he has done is improve every season he has been here.

He finally has a LB coach who has proven he can develop LBs into All Conference players in short time. The last 2 seasons Hetherman has coached an All Conference LB

Cody Lindenberg
*1st year under Hetherman
*High School Ranking: 2020 85 composite 3 star, #73 OLB, #1131 Nationally
*2024 1st team All Big Ten
*Minnesota did not have an All conference LB in 2023, the year before Hetherman arrived

Mohamed Toure
*2nd year under Hetherman
*High School Ranking: 2019 85 composite 3 star, #44 ILB, #1024 Nationally
*2023 Fourth Team All-Big Ten (Phil Steele)
*2023 Honorable Mention All-Big Ten (Coaches & Media)

Under Hetherman I can see Wes finally putting it all together. I think the mental part has always been his issue and now he is in a simple defensive scheme where his natural ability can shine.

I don't understand the Bissainthe hate

Was an above average ACC LB last year. Hopefully he continues and becomes an all-conference guy this year. Obviously I'd like to see superstars at every position and am totally cool with him losing PT if we have someone better.

Nobody is hating on Wes but at some point he’s either gonna be the guy we all made him out to be myself included or open it up to the younger talent,

Agree.

And you know if Wes had transferred 100% of the mopes would be calling him a huge loss and considering him an elite talent
