Funny that he was right on the line of signing a top 5 class twice, and then he was going to sign a top 5 class he walked out on, that doesn't strengthen your argument. I would say signing top 6 -7 class is elite out of 130 teams, so I disagree that it HAS to be top 5 to be elite.
I'm sure Oregon was, but not anymore than Texas, Alabama, Georgia, etc..So what makes elite recruiter, paying more under table or actually recruiting? I'm not sure I am tracking. So its all about money not who can recruit? If that is case then why are we having the discussion over who is and isn't an "elite recruiter"? It should be who has the most money ranked in order, and align expectations accordingly.
Facts don't care about your little feelings about Mario. Miami has sucked compared to the programs being mentioned for better part of 20 years, and didn't invest into their football program until basically 2022. Absolute 100% factual.
Again no one is saying Mario is perfect, he has flaws. He is a good football coach though that is doing a good job here right now. You have to see how he can manage the next few years to see whether he can have ultimate success.
Vegas had Miami win total at 9 last season, and it's at 8.5 right now, but we got you who wants to send Mario packing if he wins 10, but doesn't reach the ACC title game.
