Notre Dame v. UNC

They've scheduled this game at the same time as the Super League Grand Final between Wigan and St Helens.

Schoolboy error - that's going to tank their ratings.
Huh? It might tank the ratings in Istanbul but not in the US where football is king.

I sure hope UNC can get the upset.. UNC's offense is a problem when their clicking, I'm not a fan of the gold domers!! I'm hoping the Tar Heels can get the WIN, make them 1 loss- ND and Miami will be in the driver seat cause we should have a higher ranking.. But they could definitely keep ND over UM even if they lose, so hopefully UNC can do a number on them....
Lmao... we gonna win our games. We always worried about the next man.

They got the best running back duo in the country easily and a great receiver duo . Add Howell in that offense and they are very explosive
Any numbers to back that up? Cuz bama has stallions ova there, uga has good backs, vt had da no#1 rushing attack when we faced them! Im sure im missing some others!

You typed all that to say you don’t want to play Clemson again.....

F*ck that! I hope we win out. UNC beats Notre Lame and we get a rematch. Win lose or draw. I want to play the best ACC has to offer.
And get smashed again so Lashlee can act like Venables whipping boy... Yall know this team is paper thin right

DMoney highlighted all the skill players properly, but he didn't mention the player that makes the whole thing go in Sam Howell.

He is one of the elite QB's in all the country, and he plays the most important position.

He is completing 67.7% of his passes, for over 2,600 yards, with 23TD's. Also UNC like most plays much better at home. Their offense puts up HUGE numbers at home.

UNC-38
ND-34
Good thing we get them at home!!

If ND loses to UNC and Miami winds up higher ranked, we'd face Clemson in the ACC title game which would result in another loss and a drop out of the top ten.

Conversely, if ND beats UNC and remains undefeated going into the conference title game, but loses to Clemson, both Clemson and ND would likely make it to the CFP. Miami would remain a top 10 team, if we win out. It would also result in an Orange Bowl appearance likely against UF.

.ND beating UNC is actually better for Miami.
Only on CISpool would fans be looking to play less games.

P. S. If ND plays Clemson again they will lose and won’t be in the CFP. They’ll probably take our spot in a NY6 bowl.

Nah, sorry. Making the ACC Championship in a year like this would pay dividends in recruiting. That should be our goal.

I know that. I’m not pretending this team is good enough for a playoff birth.

I want as many of those measuring stick games as possible for an honest assessment of our team.

I want to see if Lashlee/Baker learned from the October matchup. I wanna see if the players have improved etc.

If we somehow face Clemson and hypothetically keep it competitive. We all will be happy from the progress shown.

I am well aware we aren’t back and we have a ways to go.

What in the last 2-3 games gives you any feeling that this team is ready to take on Clemson? The WRs have improved, but the offensive line and defensive back 7 have not. We've beaten a bunch of teams that are at .500 or less and that required late game comebacks to do it.

We are taking the 1st step in winning the games we're supposed to win. The next step is dominating the teams we're supposed to beat. When we do that, then we're ready to take on the conference champion.

You can't barely get by a bunch of average teams and expect to compete with an elite team.
LOL. Win the games and play whoever is next. This weak and super feeble approach of trying to engineer a schedule to look better than you are is nonsense.

Your school antics don't impress. No amount of dillusion is going change that this team isn't ready to take on the champs. They're winning, but not dominating these average teams. That's taking care if business, but it's not elite football. Perhaps next year. It's better to build cconfidence than getting rolled and regressing.
If we get rolled again and then go in the tank because we’re so fragile then we need to make changes. You’re not going to trick your way to greatness. You’re going to have to play good teams and acquit yourself.

We've done nothing that shows we are ready to compete at a top level. You have said so yourself in many posts. Nothing to gain by another beatdown followed by a potential bowl loss.

It's all conjecture because we have no control in getting to the title game. All we can do is win the rest of our games.

I'm just saying I'd rather play UF in the Orange Bowl than another loss to Clemson and a weaker bowl appearance.

Notre Lame 18-2 all time vs UNC. Best record against any opponent. 18-3 after tomorrow. NEVER root for those domers.

1a. The gaytor
1b. Notre Lame

We have 3 more measuring sticks.. lol

You just making **** up because we cannot engineer anything. We have zero control in getting to the ACC title game. I just don't think we benefit if we do back door our way in.

It’s not even close Michael Carter and Javonte Williams as a duo is better than what bama top 2 or uga top 2 or anyone in the country

in 8 games
Javonte williams 868 rushing yards 7.2 ypc 15 tds

in 8 games
Michael Carter 807 rushing yards 7.0 ypc 4 td

for reference, dalvin cook’s highest ypc at FSU was 7.4 however in the other 2 years it was 4.9 and 6.1 respectively. So that just shows you how well unc rbs are running the ball
