it basically compiled all the **** he's been saying on twitter.
* "Just got off the phone with Georgia secondary coach Scott lakatos....hopefully they will offer soon"
* "have to live with my decision 4-years down the road."
* "My decision is my decision I have to live with what I do, what's best for you guys isn't always best for me."
* And, in response to a tweet from a fan asking "solid to Miami but still entertaining offers? Makes no sense..", Bethel responded "who cares"
Coming on the heels of his teammate, Demetrius Jackson decommitting, perhaps the comments don't sound like they are coming from a Cane commitment.
-says its 80% chance he goes to UM
-"I also have to see if Georgia offers, want to weigh all my options."
-Of the Tweets, Bethel says "I'm getting my message out. Just because people think I have to be at a certain school doesn't mean I have to be there. I want to go somewhere where I can be happy, where I can go to the NFL from."
-He adds "People say `You need to be here, need to be there.' Let me do what I have to do."
-He also said he hasn't discussed his level of commitment with Hurricane coaches yet.
Mind you he said yesterday he's 99.9% committed

If this recruiting class falls apart.....just fold the program.

I've seen this so often with a recruit who just wants certain offers but that doesnt mean for a second he's leaving but most here will never learn

Hope you're right. But this late in the process i don't see the benefit of getting more offers. It's not like he needs more exposure. He's a four star kid and has been for a while.

Georgia Signed 5 CB last cycle, and has 2 signed now, plus probably getting another one. So he would probably be the 9th CB in the last two years.
No way he goes there. UGA hasn't even sent many CB to the league, and if they did they wash out after 1 season.

Been hearing funny things about Bethel for a few weeks over several websites.
Completely agree and know that the street agent/ coaches are on the take and get commissioned. Remember these guys don't make a lot of money. They do, however, play the role of father-figure to a lot of their football players. Some even live their coaches like we saw with Alex Collins. So when a school comes knocking and offers these coaches X amount of dollars for every high-value kid they can deliver, of course they listen and many get paid.
When the local program doesn't play that game to the same degree, then the hometown recruiting advantage disappears. That's life in SoFla recruiting.

It's not about ratings its just that some guys would love certain offers but they also know that certain schools are the best for him. Look at Trent Harris, I guarantee he'd laugh at the UF offer now but deep down he wants it but is 100% UM

tried that with Kirkland last year, didn't work. So twice with BTW, what if it cost us a relationship with the best team in the nation…Walton, Chad, Jackson…?

He's like 18 or 19, not a kid anymore! I'm not sure his upside is as good as some of the 16 or 17 year old kids. At some point the coaches have to make a stand against this late recruiting BS.
