Look at Texas Tech this year.. they could LOSE their conference championship game and still guaranteed to be in the playoffs... look at their out of conference schedule...

By the way, they were favored against ASU by 7-10 points... and lost.. and they're not even in the discussion about not making the playoffs...

I’d add Bama just dropped USF next year.


Also look at Texas. If Texas beats up Bethune instead of Ohio State. They’re 10-2 and there’s no question. Instead they lost by 1 score to the best team in the country on the road and they’re out.

Lauderdale to SBN if you want to avoid connections/driving from Chicago. For SW FL coast, Breeze has a direct from Ft. Myers to SBN. SBN is a nice, small airport and very easy to navigate. Hotels are absurd for game weekends and there are not many nice ones. There is an Embassy Suites and Fairfield (I think) right across from the stadium - not sure how hard it is to get reservations at those. I would check out Rent Like a Champion or the other rental sites too.

No point in playing OOC heavyweight games any more. Just follow the Indiana model and schedule layups and try to make the conference title game.

We literally got zero benefit from beating ND and UFag other than the satisfaction of beating down a rival and ND has since rubbed it in our faces even though we won.

No, you don’t cancel it. It’s tempting to throw your hands up and do that, but we’re already behind the 8 ball in the ACC. You cancel a game like Notre Dame and all it will do is turn into we haven’t played anybody.

If I’m Rad i’m calling Notre Dame tomorrow and saying we’ll still play next year but it has to be late in the season. The biggest problem with our victory over them is it happened so early. You beat them the last 3 or 4 weeks of the season and even the committee couldn’t ignore that.
 
Someone find Dan Rad's email address - time to flood his email box that we must threaten to cancel next years game if ND is in front of us on Sunday. I am a season ticket holder, CanesConnection member, and alumni donor and I will be ending all support unless he finds his *******

Probably have a bye week 2 and 4 so we’ll be in the middle of a 9 game stretch.
 
If we don't make it crystal clear we are canceling next years game if ND is in front of us Sunday then we should just change our mascot to

Cancel the **** game with Notre Dame next year. And I've said that earlier this week, but here's the key. Schedule somebody from the SEC. Still play an exciting opponent... Say a Vanderbilt, but just don't play Notre Dame to prove a point.

But again, schedule an exciting matchup if that could even be possible at this point in time with scheduling.
