georgia at tennessee drew more...n bama fsu drew the same.....it got nothing for bama losing in front of all those ppl as well as ND. lol

there was no doubt this year...there is no reason to play the game other than for u guys tohave something to talk with friends or to invite over ppl to yall houses....the game is a lose - lose for um and one sided...dump it....

they arent some true rival anyway. Well atleast not to me.

Hear you but we had a chance to blow the game open. If we did we’re likely ahead but who knows anymore fck the committee

Puts us in the top tier for revenue sharing and makes us more attractive to other conferences.

Wouldn't you rather see us beat ND than some G4 team? If it's as everyone says and it doesn't matter, then at least we get to watch good games.

my brother in christ we are their toughest game next year....they are shoed into the playoffs again...doesnt matter if we beat them they still would only have 1 loss. lol

Ok. I haven’t see their schedule. Ours is really soft as well so if any of ND and Miami have more than 1 loss, they should be out.

the big 10 is at 18. They dont want or need Miami. And why would youw ant to be in there?. The sec would treat um no diff than Vandy ro Mizou and they dont need us as they get fla viewership from UF.

I dont care about ND like you folks....im catholic...i cared more about the va tech, fsu, uf games (these are my real rivals) THIS YEAR.....i had smu circled as a loss and loouisville a tough out.

The system is rigged so why wouldnt i set up my team to the best of its abilities to possibly be in the cfp by avoiding playing a team where if we beat them it doesnt matter?. Our current HC isnt the best at motivating teams out of byes or holds xs and os advantages....i sure wished our laser focus was on smu than shooting your wad in a meaningless "pre szn" game against ND for bragging rights online that their fans are laughing and trolling you about because they know they are in the CFP. lol

If I’m Rad i’m calling Notre Dame tomorrow and saying we’ll still play next year but it has to be late in the season. The biggest problem with our victory over them is it happened so early. You beat them the last 3 or 4 weeks of the season and even the committee couldn’t ignore that.

their schedule was already set.... it has to be int he middle or towards november. Rad doesnt have pull to do sh*t....USC cancelled their game witht hem in 2026...we had some leverage there i guess but ran to sign up like oh look at this tough guy lmao
 
Miami should drop ND and replace with a Hard Rock home game against Northern Illinois.

There is no such thing. There is a cancel clause/penalty so all we have to do is pay $ and it's gone.

That is why I said in the OP that we can schedule UCF and then we'll have 64k paying butts in seats and be able to buy out of the ND game as a wash.

I would have signed up for this. DEAD SERIOUS...UCF Is a Power 5 team.

There is no point in playing this game.
It only counts if ND wins. It’s a lose lose for Miami.
If I was AD, I’d cancel the game.

I made a post about it a few days ago but with USC removing the game they likely have 10 games against teams that are g5 or will be in contention to finish last in their conference. (Wisconsin, Mich State, Purdue, UNC, Boston College, Stanford, Rice, Navy, Syracuse.) I’m assuming they’ll fill the USC void with another G5 on such short notice. Their only games of note are against us and SMU. IF we get left out of the playoff for them we should give them the middle finger and cancel as well. Their biggest game would be against SMU. And you can guarantee no premier opponent would schedule them after watching Miami get left out after beating them.

This current year and next year.

We tried to schedule though, in SEC opponents like UF, USCe and Auburn.
 
If we didn't play nd this year it doesn't mean we would have beat lville or smu or if we don't play nd next year it doesn't mean we will go undefeated.

ND has nothing to do with why we lost those two games. Miami only has Miami to blame for the current situation.

Beating nd is the only reason we have a chance for the playoffs after the two losses.

Don't be scared of nd.

The problem is the way teams are selected by the committee. They created this problem.

SEC moving to 9 game schedule and the committee showing that it doesn’t matter about anything else but your SEC record will have teams just keep cupcakes lined up instead of big time OOC matchups

Just cancel ND fill it with whatever D2 school wants a payday and go for an undefeated season or 11-1 through conference play. Anything else we will be left with our **** in our hand

Are you under the impression that we're in the ACC for life? Does viewership matter at all? We haven't played ND in years. This isn't just about them.
