Miami Herald Barry Jackson offensive looking at QBs. article link 4 of 4 articles

Yeah Barry Jackson has been getting worse the last couple of years. Remember I think In the spring or maybe even the fall last year he said perry didn’t throw the deep ball well, and then we see Perry throw a perfect throw down the field to Hightower in the spring?

LOL that was one throw. Jesus Christ

That article got me really looking forward to the season. Malik Rosier is reading disguises and has improved his accuracy basically he is continuing to improve like what was expected by anyone using their brains.

They said last year he read defenses well too. It was a different story come game time. And people who saw rosier in the spring all said they didn't see much improvement as far as accuracy.

end of the day, Peter gassed everyone up on perry. guys like @Coach Macho who coach football knew he wasn't ready.
It's clear from that article Malik is starter and Jarren will be the future.

I pulled up the Ariz/Perry bukkake thread and Corch's first post didn't seem to think he wasn't ready. He was sunshine pumping like the rest of them. Blackvern on the other hand was right on. You made a few good posts as well. I'll bump it for everyone's amusement.

People are so ignorant. Sean Taylor is no longer at Miami, has been gone for several years when he is murdered. Murdered by a bunch of thugs and ST was flat out a victim. But yet somehow this was part of a bad UM environment. So I guess that also means Georgia is the land if saints.

So Cade had better stats that all of them this spring, and he threw extremely well according to Richt... Why is he not vying for 2nd string?

Lot of excuses that are ultimately going to lead to the most inaccurate qb to play for us in the last like 40 yrs starting for us again. JUST START ONE OF THE FRESHMAN!

Here is what I got out of the article. Let's see a redshirt freshmen, who has good skills and went through his first spring, is still not picking some of the nuisances of the offense and needs experience. He is a pup for crying out loud. The true freshman, an early entry, has very good skills and looks promising. Shocking. LoL. And the 5th year senior, and returning starter, is showing much better maturity and leadership and looks much improved according to the defensive coaches. What can you really take negatively out of the article?

The same people who watched practice and would gas up Shirreffs? It has been made clear that our practice observers no little about what it takes to play QB, and they allow the couple days they are out there to form their entire opinion.

We have a full season of rosier to prove they are right. And if rosier was struggling to complete passes in practices like he was in games then im sure sheriffs was looking better.

They weren't right. We all saw Shirreffs and his two 0fers vs Pitt and UNC. He was a disaster and is now at Charlotte. Once again they don't what they're looking at if they thought that guy had a chance.

Perry is such a dynamic athlete. Just start him, run the same offense Louisville ran with Lamar Jackson, and watch us score 40 points a game. The only team with a chance keeping us from making the CFP would be Clemson, and that game sure as **** wouldn't be the blowout we have seen the last two times we have played them.

A senior who played NO better game 13 than he did game 1. In fact he got ******* worse. 42% completion percentage and 3 pics after having a month to prepare for Wisconsin for a home game. His ceiling is what it is at this point. He's not going to magically morph into Russell Wilson as a 5th year senior. The future is now, simplify the playbook to whatever Perry/Weldon's strengths are and see what they can do. We are not beating Clemson this year anyways and I don't know anyone who considers winning the Coastal as any sort of accomplishment.

Who said he wasn't?

Not sure how he could have better stats besides completion percentage. He played less then half the spring due to an eye injury. And when he did it was mostly against 3rd string defense. I will say Cade is an intriguing prospect and could be the dark horse. Who knows at this point.

Could be the sad truth ...
