Marty Brown TD that wasn't

Refs were solid. Good crew tonight. Think his eyes couldn’t catch up to his lips. Thought he saw one thing & before he realized he had blown his load. All good.
For the most part, I agree with this. For an SEC crew, I didn’t see really any favoritism towards Florida. That running call was the only call they really Blue that night and at least they admitted it to Mario.

DL we are two deep
C we are 3 deep
WR we have 6 guys rotating before we get to Carr. Robinson, Jojo

I was only referring to the depth on the DL. The other positions I just don’t think aren’t on a contender level.

2 deep isn’t that deep, it’s actually pretty avg for a decent team. To be honest, I was surprised how UF DL performed with 3 starters out, I don’t see this DL holding up if we had 3 starters out.

Don’t know what makes u think we are 3 deep at C. But if SJ or Rodriguez had to go in you would see a significant drop in performance.

Lowe being out hurts the DE depth.

De- Bain, Mesidor, Blount, Lightfoot, Bryant, 44
Dt- Blay, Moten, Scott, Simpson, Blount

Ryan started a game Vs UF at LG. UF he isn’t good enough and SJ isn’t big enough, we try another starter quality guy. OL is near the absolute bottom of my concerns with Mario

This isn’t about the future of theses units. Lowe is out for the season so there’s no reason to bring him up.

Like I said if 1-2 starters gets hurt this season, like Blay or Bain that unit will take a significant step back.

Ryan played pretty bad against UF. Also, I never said OL was a concern. I said the C position is not at a playoff level. I’ve looked at other top teams C and they are better than Brockemyer and Rodriguez without question. The OL as a whole is at a playoff level though.

I didn't see that they admitted the mistake to Mario. Where did you read this?

We get any official word from SEC officiating crew?

They let out a statement about a mistake they made in the OU/Auburn game yesterday. Would be nice for them to put out an official "we screwed up" statement for this too.

We won by 3 TDs in a game in which we punked the opponents offense.

Auburn / Oklahoma was decided by the 7 points the ***** up cost.

Our refs admitted their mistake and clearly were alright with Mario airing that publicly and politely. Mario as always played the people part of the job very well.

If only he got the zebra benefits a guy like Freeman at ND gets.

New defensive strategy... have a player take his helmet off right after every ball is hiked on every play.
I just remember thinking at the time, "Great, watch us get a penalty for our player playing without a helmet." It was a brutal play. I don't think I have ever seen such dominant blocking where it looked like we sealed off EVERY Gator player. Insane.

They were terrible. Missed many holding calls.

You’re mistaken if you think they were terrible. Multiple borderline targetings. Holding goes both ways. I saw our guys do it quite a bit. Same with PI’s.

Not perfect but much better than the usual group. Fair

Egregiously bad call.

With that said, I thought the refs were solid outside of that. Missed holding calls on both sides per usual but nothing else to really complain about.
Wrong wrong, way to many missed calls. Period

Mesidor did hit a Gator pretty high on a reverse, but it was an awesome play by him.

Wes still leads with his helmet

Toure had a big hit as well. The Canes are trying to knock guys out in a mostly permissible way. It was amazing to see how physically superior the Canes were last night. Mario has recruited and developed the bigger, stronger team.
Targeting on a running back, or reciever after catch, is very very rare.

You are mistsken. Targeting, please. Not close. Interference on punt flag picked up, multiple Gator holds missed. And the worst vall of the year. Sorry you are wrong.

So your one example was the refs getting the call right? We held them. They held us. They let players play. Take the emotions out. That is targeting for many crews.

They absolutely did. A completely blown call that thankfully didn’t cost us a game.

20-0 and that game is OVER. We’re not remotely stressed the rest of the night. It’s a bludgeoning and I’m not being a homer when I say the game probably ends something like 34-0 or 34-7. What a genuinely ridiculous call.
That call killed my parlay!!!!

They were wrong to pick up the flag on the punt return interference. And it looked like they missed a personal foul when Brown's helmet was yanked off at the end of a run in the 2nd half.
They’ve been swallowing their whistles a lot for the opposing players throwing punches to our WRs. There was at LEAST one, I think 2, where you see a UFag DB punching a WR in the back of the helmet.
