On to important matters, UM shouldn't be worried about a show cause. If they hire Chip, their biggest concern will be "show us where to store all this cotDAYUM money from BCS bowls and ticket sales, cause we don't know where to put it."

they actually never paid Coker the raise that was agreed to...He was set to make $2MM upon the extension of his contract, but was fired before the extension was triggered.... So NO, they did not make him on of the highest paid coaches

This would be the start of a dynasty. I hope it happens.

The show cause issue and our competition for Chip (USC) make me think this is a long shot.

As Lu said, the most important take away here is that we are aiming high, which would be great news.
 
That Mario banner must have really gotten to the BOT. This Chip leak has brought them all kinds of legitimacy, without doing a **** thing.

I've been saying for awhile that someone was gonna get Chip back to college. He's right where Saban was years ago. NFL not working out, bolt back to college while there's some prime gigs open.

Below is an article from last year listing the 25 most valuable teams in college football. I see all the teams you listed, but don't see the little private school in coral gables... are we not there cause we're private and don't disclose or cause we don't do those numbers?

You seem to know more about our finances then me, so how would you compare those schools to UM as far as finances are concerned?

Cause our financial wherewithal maters here...

How many times does this need to be discussed? HOW MANY TIMES? Do you people ever read the site? I can't with this stupidity anymore. I mean truly the dumbest people I've ever met root for this team. There have been maybe 50 posts over the years describing Miami finances, football, donations, money, etc. Miami can afford any coach it wants. It's been covered more times than I can remember. Seriously bro, you need to read more and post less.
