He was injured lost speed and strength and couldnt get leverage blocking opponents. Dallas, Harris and Burns all very capable blockers. The injury plagued him this year. You can be all world, but if you cant pick up pass protection , and your speed isnt back yet to full bore, chances are you will lose spot to others of like talent.

Harris, Burns, Chaney and Rooster will be good to go. Good luck to Lingard, injuries suck.

If so, what does that say about our scouting.

When he tore that long one against Savanah St he flashed offensive ability and speed. I realize it’s only Sav St but he looked like a man against boys. We can’t figure out a way to harness that? 3rd down back? Receiver? Kick returner?

The kid acted like an ambassador for the class if I recall correctly. He could have been a pompous and pretentious 5 star player, but he conducted himself with class. No commitment games that I recall. He potentially gave a leg to this program and they gave nothing back, even when we were way too thin at RB. The kid acted like a professional during his time here and the coaches look like the punks in this case. Come to think of it, I seem to recall some stories from Manny that did not seem to add up about the status of Lo. This is not a case of handlers, it is a case of a dysfunctional program ****ting on the loyalty of players. They can only take so much. Look at Millers dads comments after the bowl game, you going to claim his dad is a handler?

Give the kid his due and put the blame where it rightfully belongs on Manny and Co.

Go watch the tape. No one is saying Lingard isn’t good, he’s a gifted rb but I’m not losing sleep over this when we got 2 gifted rbs enrolling in the next week. Is what it is. And my whole post to that one was in regards the comment the guy said “we are so **** pedestrian at rb. That’s not factual

You're supposedly healthy, good to go, and can't see the field ahead of Burns and Harris. Yes, better hit the portal, those guys are average as ****. Good luck youngin.
 
Funny thing is we complained about the oline being bad, and we need to see the backups. We saw the backup against DUKE and it was a mess. If he could not beat out Burns dont know how good he is but we shall see.
