Lingard in the Portal

[Salt]

Barely ever posts on social media, was class ambassador, zero drama in recruitment. No off the field issues.

My guess is, the only culture issue is the actual ******** getting paid 6 and 7 figures ruining his career.

Those things are true but don't necessarily tell the whole story. We can only throw out conjectures and I get that the easy answer is that the coaches are all bumbling idiots and could care less about winning and playing the best guys.

Unbelievable, we are so **** pedestrian at RB and we let our most explosive athlete leave, good job good effort

[JBCanes-NC]

signed the best RB haul in the country

It is what it is

Wasn’t this said when Lingard and Harris signed?

[hoops156]

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure he burned his RS year being this year and will sit one play one

hed have 3 years left after this year since he RSed this year. next year he loses a year to sitting out. wouldnt that leave him with 2?

[SA Cane]

Pulling for the kid and can't wait to watch him play in college and draft him on my fantasy football team.

we just signed the best RB class in the country...

Kill ya self

that's pretty harsh. suggesting someone commit suicide is a little too much.

This group of Chaney and knighton better imo

[NVA CANE]

Thanks manny you incompetent ****.

Best of luck to lingard and every kid that transfers. I don’t blame them one bit.

[htownkidd]

Ridiculous but not surprised. I wish him the best. Kid should have received more opportunities.

With all due respect to lingard, See Chaney and knighton

Harris is super MID tbh.

I think both will steal carries. Hopefully we hire an OC that uses multiple backs.

The shtick gets old

The incoming freshman are always better. Same **** that’s said every year for the last 15 years

[gabednconfused]

kinda dumb on his part with DJ leaving, he is literally there for the No.1 RB spot, but maybe he needs a fresh start. Was told he couldn't get the plays, but that being said, neither could our ******* QBs, so I do not put all the blame on him.

Shame, but go be great kid.

Example number 1,029,039,034,904 as to why people should follow recruiting lightly. You just never know.

Good luck to the kid. Storm Johnson would be proud.

[Salt]

I can’t say if it’s good or bad. Never seen him play college. But with Manny eye for talent he is probably all world

Didn't play much under Richt either who had at least a track record of bringing top flight backs.

as recruits, this is the better haul. whether or not they translate is another story

[miamicanephins]

The only way I'd be more surprised that he left would be for me to wake up with my head sewed to the carpet...

[section9]

Just make sure he ends up out of conference.

Send him to Mario out in Oregon.
