Lingard in the Portal

I beg to disagree. Simply because it's called " connecting the dots, " or reading between the lines. And there's enough info to acknowledge football matter aren't Kosher in Thee Gables. And dig this too. There will be more current players taking the transfer route. Be they practice squad players, or one's with POTENTIAL to start or play a lot of SIGNIFICANT games minutes.
Ok. Explain to me how that's supposed to make a difference. Life hands you challenges and you fight through them. The old saying days " you can run but you can't hide". If they want to cut and run so be it. The U isn't going anywhere...

Obviously that covers up the level of the issue to an extent. It's crazy that yall just now realizing that when it's been pointed out that's why cmr called the plays he called(to the extent of all the quick ineffective passes and bubble screens)plenty of other issues with that but I digress. Honestly the problem is bigger now.

Perhaps the problems are still there and gotten bigger. Not ready to come to that conclusion yet. Will see how Manny adjusts to what's been a dismal season after being hopeful at beginning. But for those who recall he did reference that team still had a disease during fall camp. I chose not to really ponder that because I was too optimistic and excited for season to start. But it's not something he is now making up to cover for his apparent ineptitude.

they did it with tate all year. the issue i cant let go of is playing tate who left the team twice (whether excused or not) but not playing lo a snap. tate didnt deserve a snap in that bowl

To be honest, I would've played EVERYONE after FIU. Would've told the team to leave now if you're offended by the process but we're even gonna cycle in practice squad players now. That it ain't personal but that every non-senior is now being reevaluated. That we f*cked up as a staff.

But that isn’t the allegation. It’s incompetence by Manny in managing the roster and the kids. There is a pattern here. Kids want out of UM. We can’t keep kids from the draft even when they aren’t likely to get drafted. Kids quit, we welcome them back. We haven’t played with 85 scholarship kids in a decade. It’s manny’s job to manage egos, hopes and expectations, communications. Whatever happened with Lingard, it’s clear Manny has done a **** poor job managing culture and getting kids to want to be here. That’s on him.

Manny has been a disaster. But Richt didn't play Lingard, either, and he's seen his share of five-star backs.

It's a bummer. Lingard was starting to push for more playing time when he got hurt. I don't think he would've moved past the other guys, but his speed would have eventually gotten him on the field. When he came back, he was running gingerly.

Wish him the best unless he goes to UF. He worked hard and represented the Canes well.

See he didn't play with the first staff because he came from a wing T and needed to work on pass pro. He did start to pick things up before the injury even Brown said he was doing better in pass pro. So it seemed he was on the cusp of getting burn. So how in the world with this awful season did he not get one touch? Even the walk-ons got touches. Something is fishy man

No matter what happened, i will support Lingard if he goes anywhere but fsu and uf. But if he does then... :monkey-serious: Simple as that...

so if we take this at face value, maybe lingard told Manny he was transferring after the season to be closer to his dad and requested Manny not play him more than 4 games and to get 100% healthy.... but going to UF would be d*** move

Forward your ideas to the BOT. I'm sure they'll be considered...

Can someone explain how he climbed to number 2 on the RB chart (passing Harris and DJ) and then got injured, by supposedly having more limitations than any other RB besides Burns?!?

He got hurt in late October and never played before that. They wanted to give him more carries and see what they had, which is why the timing of the injury was unfortunate, but he never moved past Deejay on the field. Didn't have his wiggle, balance or receiving ability.

Curious to see how Chaney transitions from a similar offense out of HS. Hopefully they don't do him like they did Lingard

Agree and I've noticed Dr. Kaplan on the sidelines this year, I don't recall seeing him. Seems like the staff and/or administration are not confident in Vinny with injuries.
Some of the things I'd hear him saying to nephew really worried me. He clearly just wants to get kids back on the field as soon as possible. My curiosity was is that coming from him or was he being instructed that. I'd GUESS instructed because feeley was similar in his training ways as well.

Dallas and Homer played over Lingard because they were better players. When Lingard signed, everyone assumed he would take carries from those two right away. That didn't happen because of his limitations.

Richt had Todd Gurley and still found a way to get Sony Michel and Nick Chubb meaningful touches as soon as they stepped on campus. RB is not an experience position. There is some pass pro to learn, but you can either run or you can't. The fact that Lingard didn't get any meaningful touches under Richt should tell you all you need to know.

Then he got hurt. If he was healthy, he would've been ahead of Burns. Harris would have probably beaten him out. Sucks to lose him but there's no conspiracy here.
Yeah this is straight up BS. You're saying because Right didn't play Lingard that much that it means he's not good and will never be good? That's a load of ****.
You're saying if he was healthy he would have been ahead of Burns. So then why the **** wasn't he ahead of Burns. Y'all acting like the kid saying he's healthy - and actually playing in one of the final games , lead blocking for Burns of all retarded thongs - is just a blatant lie. Dude was clearly healthy enough to play. So why wasn't he healthy enough to get a ******* carry, even when Deejay and Cam were hurt?

This idea that Cam is some stuff is wrong. He was average at best this year. Burns wasn't good. Lingard should have played. You say there is no conspiracy, well maybe it's just plain retardation. Because your defense of why he couldn't get a single ******* carry is trash.

I agree...but his handler gonna say otherwise and report you for saying what you did above

Twice now cam was gonna clear it. Lot of **** yall just dont know if they dont report it on here. Yall got a limited view into this reality.
I can only imagine the absolute dysfunction going on behind the scenes if this much is making it out. Then again, when you start off by villainizing half of the team and show zero ability or willingness to see how the defense could improve or change, none of this is surprising.
