Lingard in the Portal

To be honest, I would've played EVERYONE after FIU. Would've told the team to leave now if you're offended by the process but we're even gonna cycle in practice squad players now. That it ain't personal but that every non-senior is now being reevaluated. That we f*cked up as a staff.
Well put without *****ing and moaning...

Manny has been a disaster. But Richt didn't play Lingard, either, and he's seen his share of five-star backs.

It's a bummer. Lingard was starting to push for more playing time when he got hurt. I don't think he would've moved past the other guys, but his speed would have eventually gotten him on the field. When he came back, he was running gingerly.

Wish him the best unless he goes to UF. He worked hard and represented the Canes well.
Richt had him as a true frosh and he got injured during the season, so can’t judge that.

In any case, my point is really re the pattern with manny.

I can only imagine the absolute dysfunction going on behind the scenes if this much is making it out. Then again, when you start off by villainizing half of the team and show zero ability or willingness to see how the defense could improve or change, none of this is surprising.
The long haul is going to be rough. Question is who's in and who's out? **** ain't changing so buckle up the big boy pants. To many porsters shopping in the boys section.

Perhaps the problems are still there and gotten bigger. Not ready to come to that conclusion yet. Will see how Manny adjusts to what's been a dismal season after being hopeful at beginning. But for those who recall he did reference that team still had a disease during fall camp. I chose not to really ponder that because I was too optimistic and excited for season to start. But it's not something he is now making up to cover for his apparent ineptitude.
BS. Manny is like a father whose kids don’t behave, blaming his kids and saying he needs new kids who behave.

He’s the HC. He is responsible for the culture. His problem is he has no idea what to do about it. I have never seen a HC let so many kids who quit come back. How does that help the culture?

Same way he just said my nephew wants to come back. Lmao. Believe him if u want. He says nonsense like all of this so he can keep his nose up the staphs asss. Better he feels he can make them look gives him the in with them. He shyts on staph now and **** get cut off.
Yo all I care about is he's right about Highsmith potentially coming here and taking over the football program. Any truth to that ****. We need something to change at the top.

Lingard has shown nothing

In regards to the discussion of Lingard having limitations, they kept him off the field in favor of Cam Harris and Robert Burns. Our offense was one of the worst in the country. Harris was getting smoked in pass pro and running directly into defenders to no avail. Burns was running into the backs of his own linemen.

There's no reason Lingard shouldn't have at least gotten some burn down the stretch to see how he looked in game action. He wasn't kept on the bench in order to ride the hot hand. There was no hot hand at RB once Deejay went down.

I just hope the new offensive staff doesn't play favorites so that Knighton and Chaney, if they earn it, see the field immediately without Harris and Burns' seniority coming into play.

Yeah this is straight up BS. You're saying because Right didn't play Lingard that much that it means he's not good and will never be good?

I didn't say he'd "never be good." I think his speed gives him a chance in the right role. I'm trying to tell you why he hasn't played under either staff.

Manny isn't the type of guy who is stubborn with talented players. He brought Jeff back after quitting the team. He started Jarren after he quit on the team. He plays talent to a fault. If he thought post-injury Lingard could help, he would've played him.

Thus why he plays.
Right!!! Kids know when they are led the wrong way! I believe in the players that have crazy work ethic and what my eyes show me from the coaches. The coaches show me absolutely nothing they are garbage and that’s why those 5 stars are not coming here.

Harris and Burns’ stats and game performance after Dee Jay went down were unimpressive and pedestrian. Someone else deserved an opportunity. How did Manny know Lingard couldn’t have helped if he didn’t play? The right thing to have done is play him some then make a determination. Compared to the way our RBs were performing, Manny had everything to gain and nothing to loose by putting him in. Besides, Manny and Enos made so many mistakes on offense regarding personnel and scheme that I don’t trust their judgement on how a player might perform. I only trust what I see in the field. Hilliard and Herbert couldn’t start on most P5 teams yet they were given an opportunity? Why not Lingard?

You're saying if he was healthy he would have been ahead of Burns. So then why the **** wasn't he ahead of Burns. Y'all acting like the kid saying he's healthy - and actually playing in one of the final games , lead blocking for Burns of all retarded thongs - is just a blatant lie. Dude was clearly healthy enough to play. So why wasn't he healthy enough to get a ******* carry, even when Deejay and Cam were hurt?

This idea that Cam is some stuff is wrong. He was average at best this year. Burns wasn't good. Lingard should have played. You say there is no conspiracy, well maybe it's just plain retardation. Because your defense of why he couldn't get a single ******* carry is trash.
We know @DMoney is a south Florida homer and his assessments have been off on quiet a few players. Maybe they were but you have to kidding me that the kid didn’t deserve any snaps on our ****** team!!!

Why are you playing favorites?
