Lamar Thomas

some of u retards would probably say that u wouldn't take a job with fsu even if it meant a 300,000 raise.

Butch negatively recruited UM in front of two recruits.

Thomas showed his *** all over Twiterr, publicly ***gin it up like a rival fan posting pics and "lmao!!" at UM fans.

**** this dude. Hope he starves. And the insecure black posters on here running to defend any black coach is getting real ******* annoying.

Our current head coach cut his teeth at our arch rival. Are we going to pretend he didn't speak negatively of Miami while at FSU?

But Bring Butch Back!!! Constant double standards. Can the guy coach or not? If not, prove it. Simple.

So Butch skills and statue and the things he has done to give us the pride and joy of calming we had the best college football team ever assembled is the same to you as Lamar's contribution to U? Please stop.

It has nothing to do with being sensitive. There are too many coaches available to cling to a guy that publicly and privately trashes us. Have some pride.

If it is a "business decision" for him to bad mouth UM, it should be a business decision for us to find better coaches than him....right? Then why even mention his name? The only reason his name is mentioned is because he played here before. Not because he is an outstanding assistant coach.
Is it unfair, now to only see him as any other assistant coach in the country - and not think of him as a Cane who has advantage over other available assistant coaches? I say it is fair. He gets no extra consideration from me anymore.

As you can see, that logic doesn't fly with some of the soft shouldered friends and family or fanboys of these former players that seem to believe that we should run a charity if you're a legacy of this program. Cristobal bolts after 3 hrs on the job here, has zero interest from any other programs that have head coaching openings but we should hire him because he's a Cane. Lamar acts like a complete idiot and resorts to low rent amateur tactics that he knows will be exploited publicly but we should hire him because he's a Cane even though he's proven to be nothing special in his actual job.

Being a former player here should pretty much act as a tiebreaker between you and any other similarly qualified candidates. Being a former player that has treated us like **** because you have to "feed the fam" and are too lazy to recruit properly or because you mistakenly thought the midget king of Alabama would help your career (more than it has apparently) certainly exempts us from having to provide you a career opportunity now.

I want those soft shouldered fans and friends of those ex-players respond to this.

This needs to be addressed on this site. You can't have a serious discussion about any coach's actual resume here. It's like the OJ Simpson trial. Heck, you can't even rip on Jameis Winston for the same **** reasons.

Petrino thinks he's good and that's all I need to know.

No, I refuse to provide your sarcastic "safe zone", either get in touch with your subconscious or get exposed. Its a disservice to the majority of white male bloggers here who are balanced in their criticism and don't take race into consideration when discussing our black former players and coaches. If they can do it, then U can as well. If U can't give them the same benefit of doubt, consider impactful outside/environmental dynamics or stimulus, extenuating circumstances, or bring yourself to refer tho any of them as intelligent or skilled like U did for Golden, then U gonna get this work, simple as that.

You didn't answer though....when can a black man be criticized?
