Kosi & Jarren both have bad shoulders...

We made a lot of hay with Rosier's feet in 2017. Passing doesn't seem to help us much lately.

One of these gutless reporters needs to ask why we allowed Tate to transfer in if he's so bad?

Its insanity to not at least give Tate a chance.
Because its more incompetence. Why go after a guy you know is a spread option qb to run a pro-style offense? Hurts was smart. Tate would probably be starting at louisville or wvu if he went there.

You guys are all overlooking the most serious injury that our Canes have to overcome.....

Manny's dibilating brain injury

With all due respect to everyone supporting this movement, isn't the writing on the wall if Martell hasn't taken a single snap ahead of two (2) banged up QBs

No because Greg wasn’t playing over Patchan from the rip. Mallory is asked to block even tho he ducks at it. Ragone was put in the game over Brooks or playing Finley & Frierson. Simply put the staff is dumb

I think you're right in that general assumption. Kid was a high profile transfer so he may have to be handed the starting job at a few places (even system aside) based on that alone- at least initially. As much as you can feel sorry for a kid in that spot- I do in that he bought whatever we (and his Vegas boys) were selling.

I think that coupled with the abysmal state of the season AND the actual need to see as many kids in real action is why you gotta give him some burn at some point.

I've never had a dog in this QB fight at all. Let's just see with our own eyes what we have because, as I said, this staff doesn't deserve our trust any longer on the talent assessment/playing time front- see Rousseau alone.

All of this plus Manny lied about the type of offense we'd have and Enos lied about adapting it to the players. Martell ran the Urban offense like a machine and that's exactly who and what we need.

"When everything you've done hasn't worked you'd be a fool to think you know the answer to why" - some guy

If Manny or Enos is sitting there thinking Tate won't play well my argument to them would be, you thought the s*** you put out there for 7 games would succeed, and it didn't. So maybe you don't actually know what works and what doesn't.

Miami is better than CMU, Va Tech, Ga Tech, UNC, and played Florida **** close. There is a massive culture problem on this team right now and Williams and Perry are contributors because they're the most non-leader QB's I have ever seen. They're both a Bob Ross painting come to life. Put in Tate and pray he sparks something within this team that makes them want to play. Because right now there is no energy source on this team. Everyone is going through the motions.

My absolute dream for this season now is Tate coming in, lighting it up and the players all going off about how they knew he was the guy. Just to hear Manny and Enos have to stutter out explanations would make the year for me.

Can I get an explanation on why Tate is a leader? Asking for a friend.

He led his *** to a transfer portal.

Was it the high school video from a 1,000 days ago?

Honestly, not trying to be a ****, but where did this narrative come from

Sure but that's not an argument to be made when we're not even going to be bowl eligible. Throw his *** to the fire and make sure he's junk under real game heat if this truly is a "rebuild".

I absolutely disagreed with Rick not playing Jarren at all last year but this is even more dumb and shortsighted, imo. We need to start seeing what we have in everyone in real game action because I absolutely don't trust this staff's assessment skills based on practice now.

Then they might have to admit they were wrong..

A lot of qbs lead their *** to the transfer portal and are successful baker mayfield, kyler murray, Justin fields, Joe burrow etc

will literally make no difference who is at QB - the L is still coming.
that said - if the others aren't 100%...I would give him some burn...
