Yeah watch the vid at that link. It's some goofy moonbat stuff going on in that courtroom. Not what you'd expect from a courtroom proceeding of this magnitude. But I'm not a lawyer or courtroom employee, maybe this is more common than we know.

I mean your initial reaction still has to be shock and defensiveness even before the notion that this is good for your case settles in. He was pretty adamant after in requesting that the media not print his name as being accused of rape.

This is one of those "funny" things that happens sometimes (funny to attorneys), but I really think that he will be spending the rest of his life in prison.
He needs to donate his brain (post-mortem) to CTE studies.
