Kam Kinchens is not hurt

To all the folks who conveniently and continuously use the "refs" as an excuse, how were they against UNC last nite? A neutral observer might even have thought they were in UM's pocket, the way they were handing us the game on a silver platter with the disparity in penalties.

And what sucks is no one is even close to that on the roster or coming in...maybe emory will be alright but I dno about program changing. Miami just can't bring in top flight QBs or DTs for whatever reason

I saw that when brashard smith was celebrating that garbage time touchdown on the sideline. X was just sitting there looking uninspired.

I underrated Jaquan, when he was here. Most likely because he was not the flashiest or athletic. But he made most plays....... Even with the Buffalo Bills when he played defensive snaps, he was always going to the right spot.........

He’s a high risk high reward guy. There’s nothing different from his play this year and last year. He just doesn’t have the handful of picks.
 
Give me less Flagg. Stop asking Davis to cover speedy WRs deep with no safety help. Pray Citizen, Mesidor, Fletcher, and Arroyo can get to 100% soon.

Muench: Miami safety Kamren Kinchens -- who picked off six passes in 2022 and has a Day 2 grade -- is one of the top safety prospects in this class, playing with an edge and flashing stopping power. But the tape raises concerns about his finishing ability as a tackler. His technique is inconsistent, and his pursuit angles are arguably an even greater issue. We saw it last week, when Kinchens got nosey and was beat over the top on Georgia Tech's late winning touchdown.

Unc was garbage and we handled Maye for 1 half and made the #1 pick look bad.

Maye didnt run for 188 yards. His ****** oline and rb did.

We got home on the sacks the whole first half. We blocked for tvd the whole first half. We quit in the second. Literally quit.

He's legit killing us by not playing sound football. James Williams too

Not enough attention is put on that GT TD at the end. All Kitchens had to do was stay back in his coverage and tackle the guy once he caught it, game would've been over. Instead he's trying to get a highlight reel game winning pick. Just stupid playing for the highlight reel and not a win.

And apparently he didn't learn from his mistake. The UNC game was the same stuff again, creeping up for highlight reel picks and getting beat deep for multiple TDs.

Terrible stuff and extremely disappointing coming from a Veteran and All American

He was an AA....last year....this is a whole **** new szn. Why are you all keep lamenting on this all american bs......... im not evn disagreeing, i just hate hearing talk about aa or 5 star this or that...once your in college you no longer a 1 or 5 star your a player no 1 gives a sh*t thats for fans and recruiting sites.

Stuff were being blown LAST YEAR....and yall who dont know football were blaming Tyrique Stevenson because he would be the only one running towards the wide receiver.

He gambles at safety this is known, those gambles maybe anticipation or wanting to make a splash or whatever it may be...it has cost us the last 2 games in a row for sure...im not a fan of it at all.

BUT I JUST KNEW IT WAS COMING FROM THE FAN BASE BECAUSE ITS BEEN RINSE AND REPEAT ON HERE...**** I KNOW WHICH PLAYERS TO IDENTIFY A YEAR IN ADVANCE YALL WILL FLIP ON...RIGHT NOW ITS SOME OF YOU THAT LOWKEY ARE THROWING SHADE AT X RESTREPO...and yall dont even know why

Kam parlayed his 3 interception game in 2022 vs GT into All-American honors.

Aint hard when you have a center thats scott free based on alignment and lbs that miss tackles consistently.

Essentially easier when you have one of the smallest interior dt's to deal with (ours) in conference...Gaynor is as weak as baby sh&t

that wasnt the only reason, stat wise it may have helped a little bit.

in that case Tecory Couch should be on hs way to AA status this szn with 2 more picks.

i'm disappointed we can't find anybody that gives couch work in practice ... how many plays does he have to leave on the field before someone else gets a shot
 
I love Kinchens…And I think he is one of the 8-12 best safeties in college football

But I was flat out shocked he was a first team AA last year…It wasn't merited imo, and that's not even a knock because he was one of the few bright spots on the team.

You won't find a more heralded safety that is directly responsible for more bad plays…(MTSU, UNC last year…and yes the play should have never taken place3, but the game winner to GT this year)…Those are huge plays that killed us. That being said he is very good down to down…Very good). Overall James Williams is improved.
