It’s how he does things , it’s not exactly a new trend.
I get it so thats why I wont hate on fans for becoming impatient. I get it if it were like day 10. tbh, if the timelines weren't thrown out there, then I think there'd be more patience. the timelines make everyone even more impatient bc we've blown past 10 of them. first someone said after ESD, then after NYE, after the season, etc. I dont disagree w you in terms of changes happening and common sense dictates theyll happen.

im more interested in the new hire bc I dont trust Mario for **** on O staff hires and that was my reservation a year ago when he was hired. hes not exactly modern in his thought process.

Look at the end of the day it will be who it is. Whether that is Arroyo, or In House Ponce, or anyone else for that matter. We can only hope that the offense looks way better this year than it did last.

went from people saying Riley to now Arroyo sheesh. generic, uncreative offense.

logic would've seemed that way as well although put a enough of a bag in someones face and you can get them to change their minds.
Sure but I would imagine TVD could have gotten a bag from a lot of people

But you get me, not trying to make it so cut and dry of course

Seems like things are heating up! Mario is dug in on this style of process and I think he wants to treat coaches with respect and wants the kids who can mentally handle it too. Psychologically almost to weed out kids who don't want to be here and are easily influenced.

Boyz in tha Hood jerry curl vibes

Problem here??!?!?

Maybe it’s a mixture of helping coaches out that’s been successful elsewhere while not needlessly throwing money out the window buying them out? A real “ parting“. I personally don’t like how he did it but if he hires the right guy’s it was worth it.

Agreed.

That Massive IF is important and why this thread is approaching 400 pages: his process takes long and has yielded bad results…plus his offensive reputation plus the lack of WR recruits plus the question of blaming players vs holding failed coaches accountable = impatience justified …

East Stroudsburg, Millerville, Gettysburg, Art Institute of York, literally, anywhere!!!!!!!!

I think Gattis could do some real damage at Carnegie Mellon. Could also be an excellent fit at Grove City. Heard that Rad torpedoed him at IUP though as he didn't want to sabotage his alma mater.

Long term, it’s usually best to not burn bridges especially with as much turnover there is with coaches.

An excellent fit for the maintenance staff at the GC Outlet Mall, yes.

Edited to add: did not realize Rad was an IUP guy and Aliquippa native. On a side note, hate driving to IUP, no easy way to get there from my location.

Not Ponce. He’ll be seein just like Gattis

A text I got from someone who has mentored me I won’t say who it is and Ima probably delete this but this is the gattis thread. He had to convince me before last season we were doomed
Totally seemed that way all season. Especially when Key Smith’s mom was spilling the beans about Gattis meeting room antics.

Why do you have to act like a **** 24-7?

Nobody said it was about coddling and protecting egos. Enhanced job titles are also about payroll and budgeting, particularly at a state school where salaries are public information.

And "already have a Co-OC" is some bull**** that amateur H.R. specialists were using last year when they were telling us how Dan would never hire Alonzo "because he didn't want someone looking over his shoulder".

All of this because you couldn't play along with the obvious humorous intent of trying to figure out whatever it would take to get Pedo State to hire Gattis (and for Gattis to accept the job).

But, yeah, thanks for being the dip**** that has to be negative about EVERYTHING. Literally everything.
You spent 2 paragraphs defending your post as literal, talking about payroll, budgeting and job titles, but it was “obvious humor intent”…ok

And even if it was, that game got old after the first 40 times it was played in this thread as other coaches got hired and fired
