LMAO @ anyone downplaying what Rosier did Saturday. Dude literally won the game for Miami.

Some of you sheep will believe anything Dee says because his nephew is committed here.

Sad

Lol. Now he literally won the game... Thank god no one else showed up to play otherwise I'd really be worried. You speak on me yet you've always had your agenda. Your dialogue proves that. Sad that people go to such an extreme to speak out on anything someone says whether they agree or not simply cause that person said it. Not that serious bub. Head back to McDonald's

Lol ^ still bagging on Rosier... ? according to you he wasn't good enough to start for a 1aa school and yet Homie just led us to victory at Doak without Walton

And Harley's dropped more balls than he's caught, that's on him

He didn't lead us to anything...news flash for those that choose to disregard roughly 80% of homeboys throws were horrible. (The only receiver he's definitely on the same page as is brax. Everyone else he throws the ball behind on a regular) that fsu team we just eeked by is easily the worst fsu team ive been alive to witness. If he completed any passes (only reciever who flat out wasn't napping and doing his part was cager)in the first three quarters we should've blown them out... dude was shell shocked & lost in the moment. I'm not blinded by a last second win against a horrible team just because said teams name is fswho. I'm like Dennis green on this one. They are what they are,you make em what you want. Can't simplify stuff more tthan we have.

baaaaaahahaha!

The kid goes to Doak and throws for 3 TDs in the second half vs one of the best D's in the nation. Orchestrates a last second comeback while not having A.R, or Walton.... and you still **** on him???

You may have a legit connect like none of us do to the program, but your assessment of whats going on on the field is suspect as ****..

It's my assessment that's suspect but his success is all on him while his failures are all on richt. Let's fly a banner. Clearly we need an oc. Ur right.

In fairness to Dee, I don't think he's bashing Rosier's accomplishments. He EARNED the starting job & beat FSU. I'm perfectly fine with him back there as long as he keeps it going.
But he has some issues as a passer & QB in general. U can tell he played baseball. I see it in his footwork & his throwing motion. I've seen it over & over at the high school level, because a lot of high school players (where I'm at) also play baseball. He also isn't used to watching film or reading defenses. But he's progressing.
Again, I have no problem with him starting at QB & I'd neg any post I read that bashes him just to bash him. But we shouldn't completely ignore his flaws just because he beat FSU.

Careful now. Not too many on here are bright enough to understand you can support while still voicing concerns. So speaking directly to you,his confidence continues to strengthen. He just really needs to learn how to slow down mentally and not get overwhelmed by the moment. That's when he really rushes his throws.

More trash. Dude leads two game-winning drives in the biggest rivalry game in football, and these guys are still with the "yeah, but his throwing motion isn't pretty and he didn't complete all his passes." Pretty obvious what's still going on with some of these gurus.

Chise he didn't complete even 50% of his passes. That's an issue. I don't understand how it's ignored especially when most of his passes were considered safe. As the commentators pointed out all we were running was slants and stops. Thank god we got the win. When it really mattered he stepped up. But if he just played at that level the whole game & was consistent than were not picking apart everyone else but him cause it's not a close game. It's not taking credit away from what he did succeed at. It's great he did that now let's just get him to work on this... dont understand how anyone's able to argue against that...

Every throw he made was contested too. Only WR getting any separation was Berrios, and Ahmonn still wasn't himself. Cager was playing like he had money on the Noles. Couple that with not having the threat of a running game... Rosier literally put us on his back, and to say otherwise shows that youre either an idiot or have an agenda.

Sad to see Rosier beat FSU twice and still have UM fans with an agenda slick talking him down.

and i'm even overstating Berrios getting separation too. The balls he caught were perfectly thrown and would have been incomplete or intercepted if they weren't

Agreed. As I said, has in perfect sync with brax. Majority of his t grows to brax were spot on. But if he can do that with brax than it shows either a lack of preparation or a lack of skill why he isn't capable of doing that with others. I'm not gonna agree no other recievers did their part. Only wr I think played like crap was cager.

Just take the L and give the kid the props he deserves. HE"S A FOOKING GAMER! and he just provided our entire fan base with the most joy we've experienced in over a decade.

And unlike you, i dont have an agenda. I was taking your accounts of the preseason to heart and hoping that Perry would break out of the pack.

19-44 is pretty rough. Anyone with a brain can see there is major room for improvement with Rosier. He had a terrible 25 minute stretch in the Duke game as well. That being said, he was phenomenal in the 4th quarter on Saturday and hopefully he can continue to play like that for 60 minutes, not just 10 minute stretches in games here and there which has been his track record in every start he's made for UM. Even his first start against Duke on Halloween he was really up and down. Needs to eliminate the peaks and valleys and play a solid 60 minutes.

One thing I'm curious about though. Feel free to answer if you want to. Considering everything fsu has gone through do you honestly believe our fan base when it's all said and done will see this game as any different from what it was when we beat Florida several years ago when they started the season top 5 as well... this is what I mean. Same people saying all this now don't give kayaa or that team any credit for beating that uf squad yet are stumbling around like blind fools for us beating this fsu squad... It's not pick & choose.

Kaaya didn’t play uf, wasn’t even on the roster when we played them. This fsu team is more talented than that uf team by far. Yeah they lost their qb but they have elite talent every where other than the oline. Let’s not forget fsu played 3 top 20 teams so it’s not like they are losing to scrubs. And no this is not their worst team in the last 30 years. Before the season starting people talked this team into being a shoe in playoff top 3 consensus team preseason. They also were going around saying that that defense will be the best they have had too. Yeah malik struggled at the beggining but he balled at the end when it mattersd and converted SEVERAL 3rd and longs with great passes or running ability. Threw some absolute dimes in the 4th quarter too. He played big when it mattered the most against a defense that has multiple future nfl players at every level. That’s all you can ask or wish for with a qb making their 5th career start

Dee -

For the record, I agree with your assessment of the Rosier situation. Support him while still taking notice of his flaws.

I've been one of the people banging on Richt's play calling. I've considered what you mentioned - that he may be limited because of the players (QB). Do you really believe this to be the case?

I don't. In fact, I think if he were more creative, he would help Rosier by masking some of his deficiencies. I've been crying for pre-snap motion. Others have mentioned shovel passes and jet sweeps. Whatever the method, there needs to be something incorporated that makes the defense have to read or guess. It should help our WRs get open more and give Rosier a little more margin of error.

I can't see how Rosier's physical limitations would hamper this. And aside from him mentioning he didn't study the playbook until Duke last year, I haven't heard anyone question his mental abilities, which seem more important when making the offense more complex.

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Dee's ego showing. He dogged Rosier ultra hard before the season and guaranteed an 8 win season if Rosier started. Instead of tipping his hat to Rosier, he's decided to double down because of ego.

I can probably count on one hand how many times I have agreed with you but this is spot on. I was trying to remember what horse BDee bet on in the QB race in the Fall and I can almost assure you IIRC it wasnt Rosier. Sounds like sour grapes.

BDee, I usually ride with you but not on this one. You sound crazy. I dont know what Sheriffs can do or Perry either but I dont care and I dont want to know. I am riding with Rosier until the wheels fall off.

You're right it was Morris. Not really sure how that changes the narrative & your comparison is laughable considering all the NFL players and first rounders that were on that uf squad. Haven't looked too elite when they raked out a game they should be lost to wake forest or against that power house 2nd state squad either. I understand though. Just proves my point. Make the narrative match ur scenario

More trash. Dude leads two game-winning drives in the biggest rivalry game in football, and these guys are still with the "yeah, but his throwing motion isn't pretty and he didn't complete all his passes." Pretty obvious what's still going on with some of these gurus.

The kid was scared $hitless in the first half. No ****. He had the WEIGHT OF THE WORLD on his back. In a rivalry game, at Doak, against an FSU team who basically said "Its all or nothing here. We are emptying the chamber in this Miami game to try and save the season", and with the ghosts of the 7 game streak...he was overwhelmed.

But guess what? He got over it. Like a true gamer does. If you wanted a perfect game..you got the wrong guy. You need to lower your expectations. That aint Rosier. But guess what...at years end ill bet he has us at 10+ wins and primed and ready for a run at it all next year.

And furthermore, how arrogant and ungrateful do we sound to give a ***** about how pretty someones stats were after a win over a hated rival? LMAO. So if we had gone 30-30 for 386 and 4 TDs but we had lost the game you would have loved the guy, right? Smh. Yall are a trip.

Malik can and should improve going forward, but I've rewatched all of these games and one thing that jumps out (especially this week) is our WR's aren't getting ANY seperation. Rosier's passes need to be **** near perfect to not get intercepted or fall incomplete. Richards is the only WR I have faith to seperate or go up to get a pass, but against FSU he was struggling too. Berrios has found some room but alot of his receptions are still highly contested and caught in small windows and back shoulders. Cager is never open. Neither is Harley, or Harris, or Mullins. Thomas never has any room on his few receptions either.

If Richards is out or half speed this weekend I have concerns about GT. With Walton out we need to throw and I don't have confidence in anyone but Berrios (w/ some Herndon) to consistently move the ball. I think people forget our margin over them last year was due to the fumble returns, offensively we were even. Their QB this year is for more dangerous, WR's need to step up.

Lol ^ still bagging on Rosier... ? according to you he wasn't good enough to start for a 1aa school and yet Homie just led us to victory at Doak without Walton

And Harley's dropped more balls than he's caught, that's on him

It's my assessment that's suspect but his success is all on him while his failures are all on richt. Let's fly a banner. Clearly we need an oc. Ur right.

I agree that pre snap motion should be incorporated more often. Can't argue that and wouldn't want too. I'd also think in that same equation maybe you should roll him out more often. Move the pocket. Only issue with that is several obvious ones. #1 by rolling out you eliminate a large portion of the field from the play.#2 while rosiers mobili t y is a plus his ability to throw accurately while on the run is semi limited. For me the key to this offense with t he players we have in place should be all about quick hitters. Use that to supplement the run game basically and also it puts playmakers in space to make something happen... also I don't know if you'd consider it a mental short coming or not but for the most part he is a one read qb. He doesn't really go through his different options often. He is getting better at reading his options though.
