Jeff Thomas deep

I’m convinced some here don’t even really watch the games or are just really drunk during it. JT4 is not dynamic play maker with the ball in his hands. I will give him his credit for getting open down field and yes, Jarren has missed a few and underthrew him in the end zone. However, JT4 doesn’t not make people miss, easily gets tripped up, and breaks no tackles. He’s not someone who is going to house a end around, bubble screen, etc

He's a conservative qb, that will hit guys, coach richt knew what he wasdoing, perry still has the best upside out of the 2 from a physical standpoint, and perry puts fear in defenses because they do have to gaurd the whole field. Had perry been the starter, jeff thomas would definitely have alot of yards by now, jarren is more concerned with protecting the ball than going for greatness. You can tell if perry was named the starter jw15 would've bounced, he's fragile minded, and is gun shy. He plays alot like the qb who transfered from clemson last year, and kind of how jalent hurts was playing when he started at Bama, both of those guys did not give the offense a chance to reach its full potential, im seeing signs of that with jarren. I'd rather have perry and the big play threat every play myself, than watching this conservative ****. You could see the difference in the receivers in the limited time perry got in the Bethune game, perry is way more aggressive with the football. If coach diaz and coach enos think the conservative approach is the way to go, than good luck!

A few Good throws no doubt, but where was that the rest of the season In games he played? Unc? Didn’t see anything special there, uva/pitt/Wisconsin? Nothing at all. FSU game? Couple of good td throws but beyond that the accuracy was terrible behind a better oline

I hear you bro. But there is a major piece being left out. You’re judging N’Kosi based on last years system and play calling against JW in this years system where guys are consistently open but with less time to deliver.

I would suggest taking JW out for 2 series and make sure he understands what he’s seeing. Clearly explain what the defense is doing and what he needs to do and send him back out there.

Alright you talking crazy now. I do agree that he gets tripped up to easily. His initial burst is A1 but top end speed no so much.
Lack of track background and his ability to sustain his speed hurts him ulitmately. If he did run track he wouldn’t have those issues as much

How is that Jeff Thomas can get more receiving yards with Malik Rosier throwing the ball than he can with Jarren??
Look like Thomas had most of his production last year with rosier too...

Seemed a couple of times JT4 could have broke it open. Once on a kick off and once on a jet sweep I think. He was shoe strung tackled twice I think. The deep ball in the end zone it looked like he jumped too early. I know it was ugly but between those plays and a very un KJ like drop we should have breezed to a cover. Fix the ****.

Why must you be sucked in?

You know when Chris rock said “ if you’re playing basketball with a ****** you can’t call them for a double dribble “. You’re calling krazy for a double dribble.

Just let it slide.

On occasion he'll surprise me, but im not banking on him taking an end around or bubble to the house, but that spin move he did on the gaytors was sweet. The main 3 that need to get the ball as of now on those is deejay dallas, pope and wiggins may not have moves but he n I tcslowing down, he one cutting and going, and once payton starting getting more burn!

Kid has been standing open a few times down field this year.

Kid needs to make the catches thrown to him in key situations to earn back his Q's confidence.

We're a quarter of the way through the season and Jarren has managed to find five other receivers who have caught 8 TDs between them, he hasn't scored yet.

Seven recievers have longer catches than he does, and an 8th has the same (19yds) this season.

Big Time players show up in Big Time situations.

This isn’t true, I was at the game and sit in that corner, the safety although was late he read the route and committed to Thomas which is why Williams threw it to Mallory. If Thomas would’ve ran the route at full speed the. The safety had no chance and Williams could’ve thrown it for a TD. Thomas doesn’t run his routes full go so I could imagine it’s hard to trust him.

This is what concerns me. Miami has been down right lethal on post snap RPOs (all in breaking or vertical seam variety) this central Michigan defender is in a prime position to take away the qb's read AND be a free hitter and engage vs the run game. Miami will see this again. I promise you this.

Again this is a poor read by Jarren. He is looking right at the safety creeping up. This should have alerted him the that the safety was cutting off the RPO and defending the run. A simple read was to pull the ball and hit Thomas with an easy throw
