They know if they dont win that game they could get left out again and its got them shook.

They also know they lost the engine of their offense to the draft and did not reload the same way.

Their whole season hinges on whether Carr takes the next step and/or a player(s) in their RB room emerge as a big play threat and workhorse.

Could be a single player or a duo but without both aspects in the run game it all falls on Carr to be the guy who consistently moves the chains or creates explosives.

Carr lost the TE Raridon and Fields as his big 5050 guys. I consider this huge because his best and most dynamic skill is his ball placement along the sideline for his BiG Wrs. If they dont have a real replacement at TE or Wr that can get those 5050 balls Carr is cooked.

I hope we beat them so bad that the announcers start crying about it like they did in ‘85. Beat them down so bad they remove us from their clown shoes schedule just like they did in 1990. They’re nasty, pretentious know it alls who think they’re better than you because they root for a Catholic school. For those of you who travel to the Golden Shower Dome, don’t be surprised if they vandalize your cars. They’ve done it to other opposing fanbases. Biggest sore losers in sports. And if they somehow win, they’ll celebrate like they won the championship. We are their Super Bowl. We will forever live in their heads, rent free. **** the Cryin’ Irish and their waste of oxygen fans. I hate them worse than they could ever hate us. The way national sports media creams their jeans over them makes me want to throw up. Champions of the offseason since 1988.

-Beat them head to head
-Beat the other team they lost to in their own stadium
-Beat the team they lost to in the national championship
-Beat every other similar opponent by more, except for one

Notre Dame: "Man, they got lucky"

That's the mindset I'm talking about. What you should be saying is, "we need to get better", because if you truly think it was a fluke then your culture is f***ed.
 
I mean, at this point this thread needs to be a notre lame tears thread and get moved into the recruiting forum.

These mfer’s have made Us their “ game of the season”. Bc we are so far imbedded in their brains it won’t be right until they beat us ,in Southbend, in November, in the cold. JFC, and what happens when you lose ya f**king Twinks. What?.. ya GD season goes down the s**t tube, bc ya haven’t focused on anything but the loss at HR,.. LAST season. I hate these guys the most. Da Gaytah makes it close and they are more proximate. But the hubris of Notre Dame is extremely punchable.

Agreed, I step on campus right after the Gator Flop, and that still burns. But, having to endure ND running up the score on us in the 70’s and the Catholic/Convict debacle s**ked. That’s why taking the belt to that Alter boy a** in Southbend would be a Chef’s Kiss, after last season.🙌🏽

Bruh, they collectively chose to quit on the season instead of taking that anger and proving people wrong by stomping out an opponent in a big bowl game. They are objectively a mentally soft team. I used to hate them just as a historical rival. They were entitled crybabies but I gave them the same respect I gave any other team. But after their embarrassing actions at the end of last season, I simply can't respect a team full of quitters and a coach who encourages that behavior. Say what you will about Florida State, but even in the depths of their failure as a program, they would go so far as to add a FCS team at the end of a season just so they can get one more win and qualify to play a meaningless bowl game. They are pathetic but still deserve more respect than a 10 win ND that is scared to play in a bowl game.
